Awesome match. Adonis is underrated, & piper is one of the all time greats. This is my 3rd favorite WWF match of 1987, after Savage/Steamboat & the Survivor Series main event. lol Hogan/Andre was very epic but the match itself was a not that good imo, besides the slam of course

The reason why Beefcake came down and helped Piper was because in a match prior to wrestlemania 3, Adonis was Beefcakes partner and Adonis acidently cut a huge chunk out of Beefcakes hair and he was pissed..What mae it worse, Adonis was not even sorry about it and Beefcake turned face in this match for sweet revenge....Sweet storyline!!
