3. Cash for clunkers is lowering demand.

4. We only get 30% of our oil from the US, and even then they are the first to be cut because its more expensive to make it here.

5. We had an oil man as president, and we couldn't fix oil prices.

6. Yeah use up the finite resources sooner. That's really smart.

And that argument is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If oil companies had extra oil to sell the would be selling it now. DUH. There is this little thing called OPEC which makes it so there isn't an unlimited supply of oil that producers can just "sell now." Talk about false logic and backwards thinking.
