I lived in Valley Ranch for a short while. They tried to fine my sister for having the wrong color roof. That was the same roof they had approved for the previous home owner. VR HOA is a NAZI organization that ruins the quality of life for the area. A Walgreens was told by VR HOA they had to remove a movie rental kyosk from the side of their building, or they would seize the property. These are criminal tyrants. I left and never looked back. I want to build a dome home but can't get financing because the banks need examples to appraise these examples have to be in this area well hello there are no examples because this is out of the norm of building. Dome homes are extremely energy efficient they use 1/3 the energy of a well insulated home and get this are near disaster proof warrantee up to 300 mph winds. The cost about the same as a regular stick built house. They have footage of a house taking a 30/06 round not penetrating.
I think these houses are not allowed because they will put too many people out of work. These domes need far less maintence than a stick house google AI Domes or monolithic. If you have a home that is that efficient then you don't need as much infrastructure (solar panels) to sustain a good lifestyle. The less you need the less you need to produce. With domes we could be off the grid and safe in any storm even a firestorm these houses are fire resistant and have lower insurance rates.
Yes it may put people out of work, but it is so much better for the enviornment than a plant that produces vast amounts of waste that destroys the world in which we live, and nobody do anything about it. I lived in Valley Ranch for a short while. They tried to fine my sister for having the wrong color roof. That was the same roof they had approved for the previous home owner. VR HOA is a NAZI organization that ruins the quality of life for the area. A Walgreens was told by VR HOA they had to remove a movie rental kyosk from the side of their building, or they would seize the property. These are criminal tyrants. I left and never looked back. But hey guys to place photovoltaic pannels on your roofs seems to be pretty green but if I consider FULL LIVECYCLE ASSESSMENT most of these items do not seem too ecologic to my point of view !
Rather check out to substitute your heating energy with solar thermal systems instead (why not DIY devices) ! This is my good advice, for environment as for your purse as well !

Where I live the non-hoa neighborhoods are the best to live in, and the new HOA areas are going down fast. They have the highest foreclosure rate.

I want to build a dome home but can't get financing because the banks need examples to appraise these examples have to be in this area well hello there are no examples because this is out of the norm of building. Dome homes are extremely energy efficient they use 1/3 the energy of a well insulated home and get this are near disaster proof warrantee up to 300 mph winds. The cost about the same as a regular stick built house. They have footage of a house taking a 30/06 round not penetrating.

I think these houses are not allowed because they will put too many people out of work. These domes need far less maintence than a stick house google AI Domes or monolithic. If you have a home that is that efficient then you don't need as much infrastructure (solar panels) to sustain a good lifestyle. The less you need the less you need to produce. With domes we could be off the grid and safe in any storm even a firestorm these houses are fire resistant and have lower insurance rates.
