This is really just an overlay of the Dissidia character models onto the old models, along with some cover music by other artists not affiliated with this "project".

Not only does Guard Scorpion never appear in Kingdom Hearts (it does in Crisis Core), Cloud never wears his "fake" SOLDIER outfit in Kingdom Hearts. In Kingdom Hearts, he wears a ragged model of his first uniform, covered by what many see as Vincent's cloak, Vincent's metalic glove, and Buster Sword is covered in bandages.
@misterferrari1 Also, note that Tifa wears black overalls in Kingdom Hearts II (the only Kingdom Hearts she makes an appearence in), and not her original outfit. Also note her red gloves and elbow guard, which are a referrence to Amano's original artwork of her, as present in Dissidia Duodecim.
To finish off, Aerith never wears a red jacket in Kingdom Hearts. She wears a simple one-piece pink dress with a blue belt, which is clearly not present here.

@TribalfuryO Fact still remains that their outfites are exactly the ones used in Dissidia, and these models were not present in Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 or any of the spin-offs.

However parts of them do not match up to their Dissidia models, look them up on the FFwiki and you'll see there are some differences especially if you compare Tifa's Dissidia model to her at 2:46. You are right in that they do not appear in Kingdom Hearts or any other spin off of Final Fantasy so maybe they were created by them? It would explain the difference in quality between them and Guard Scorpion who is from Crisis Core.

Baaah. Nostalgia aside, the sprites aren't too much more detailed than the originals. Not that I'm not impressed with the effort you're putting into everyones favorite game. Hey, how can people edit the game whilst keeping the actual game itself? I'm using Blender at the moment to Render characters and such, Im kind amaking my own project and game with a friend, I designed a website a while ago and now I can turn it into the RPG it's meant to be.

Well said! Elder Scrolls Oblivion was pretty much the best game I've ever played. I'm looking forward to Skyrim and Diablo 3. I can't stand CoD, either. Not because of the repetitive nature of play, but because the majority of the CoD community is rude and overly competitive. I find that people who don't like RPGs are typically shooter fans instead. Me, I can't stand most shooters. Fallout 3 is the exception.

Hell I still play Diablo 1 and two and on a few occasions I still play the original Ultima series or Planescape, Baldurs Gate ect... Your genre is really only getting sales in Japan right now thats why Square Enix purchased Eidos so a western developer could actually make a good rpg for them that would sell well outside of Japan "Deus Ex Human Revolution".

@BEOWULF9965 WRPGs tend to offer a lot more choice and sometimes true free roam (like the Elder Scrolls for instance). WRPGs have their pluses and minuses though. Bioware's games have gotten progressively worse since Baldur's Gate 2 (which was by far their best game and one of the best RPGs ever made). The other WRPG companies seem to be attempting to make things as simple as possible so even your 5 year old son can enjoy them. RPGs are for nerds. Keep them that way. JRPGs do.
@Vylsith2 I whole heartedly agree about the unfortunate simplification of wrpgs (it seems only Bethesda stays to its roots) unfortunatly ever since the advent of the Wii and its casual friendly games devs have been trying to gain the favor of that casual audience, in the west (shooters are guilty of this more so than even rpgs, just look at the COD series one clone after another) I do enjoy many Bioware games but admittedly I have no desire to get the next Mass Effect game,

Baaah. Nostalgia aside, the sprites aren't too much more detailed than the originals. Not that I'm not impressed with the effort you're putting into everyones favorite game. Honestly, if Square Enix wanted to make a fuckton of money with little effort, they'd just have to slap a new coat of paint onto the old FF7-9 games.

Here's another one: Barret's supposed to be with Cloud in that fight, not Tifa. You don't get to meet her until you blow up the Sector 1 reactor. See where I'm going here?

1. Show people how good I am playing at FFVII and killl the boss in 30sec.
2. Show people the new models, how they fit with the battle animations, with a lot of angles and camera changes and a lot of characters actions.

Well said! Elder Scrolls Oblivion was pretty much the best game I've ever played. I'm looking forward to Skyrim and Diablo 3. I can't stand CoD, either. Not because of the repetitive nature of play, but because the majority of the CoD community is rude and overly competitive. I find that people who don't like RPGs are typically shooter fans instead. Me, I can't stand most shooters. Fallout 3 is the exception.

@sharuko24 yes the very fact that you choose how to play the game denote nonlinear play. How hard is that for you to understand. Perhaps you are a lower life form that can only comprehend a single way of approaching something, and mabey you lack the imagination to approach tasks at multiple angles that must be why you need a game developer to hold your hand through the whole process with a convoluted plot. @sharuko24 actually what makes an RPG a success is not the story its actually the Role Playing in the Game. Essentially the ability to play a role/character the story is simply the icing on the cake. I know that good gameplay might be hard for you to grasp after all Japan has been feeding you guys the same rehashed turn based gameplay for a while now. So the only thing you know is story (but their is a medium that's been telling stories better than any JRPG for quite a while now books)

In fact that genre is more of an authoritaritative approach, the games I prefer allow freedom of choice not only in plot but in gameplay as well. @sharuko24 And no graphics are not a deciding factor nearly as much as gameplay is. Hell I still play Diablo 1 and two and on a few occasions I still play the original Ultima series or Planescape, Baldurs Gate ect... Your genre is really only getting sales in Japan right now thats why Square Enix purchased Eidos so a western developer could actually make a good rpg for them that would sell well outside of Japan "Deus Ex Human Revolution".

@rober150 generally no but if you've read most of the conversations that I've had on this vid let alone most of the conversations I've had with most people who prefer JRPGs. When the subject comes up about rpgs and the discussion goes towards favorite rpgs and when I name my favorite ones (which are wrpgs) I hear the usual rhetoric of how those games are for simpletons that have no concept of a (supposed) great story, or how the gameplay is boring and repetetive, well now I am trolling JRPGs

@rober150 I've lived in Japan fore two plus years, so thus I interacted with the Japanese people and video games is kind of a big deal over there, I do have to say at least they aren't as smug about their game preference as westerners that like their games, my response to you is valid I was showing actual evidence on how Japanese game industry in general is losing its dominance in sales and international appeal where as western devs are gaining in world wide appeal

@BEOWULF9965 WRPGs tend to offer a lot more choice and sometimes true free roam (like the Elder Scrolls for instance). WRPGs have their pluses and minuses though. Bioware's games have gotten progressively worse since Baldur's Gate 2 (which was by far their best game and one of the best RPGs ever made). The other WRPG companies seem to be attempting to make things as simple as possible so even your 5 year old son can enjoy them. RPGs are for nerds. Keep them that way. JRPGs do.

@Vylsith2 I whole heartedly agree about the unfortunate simplification of wrpgs (it seems only Bethesda stays to its roots) unfortunatly ever since the advent of the Wii and its casual friendly games devs have been trying to gain the favor of that casual audience, in the west (shooters are guilty of this more so than even rpgs, just look at the COD series one clone after another) I do enjoy many Bioware games but admittedly I have no desire to get the next Mass Effect game,

@Vylsith2 ever since EA bough Bioware they've become nothing more than a franchise milking machine it seems as if there is no room left for creativity or something new, though I'm glad that games I enjoy are reaching a wider audience but I worry that they are all becomming more casual friendly and thus losing their depth and playability. Though I am noticing a trend from Japanese devs they are making more wrpgs, like Dark Souls, and Dragons Dogma from Capcom
