I would have to say this aired in late 99 as this is the cast and theme song at the time(before the stinky jazzed up version) I'm so glad they quickly ditched that. the dramatic music is much better set for a daytime program!

@7DARKHELLS Well I like voiceovers! It is necessary and that is what people did in the old days. We needed to know what was going on in the news and the nighttime programs. Everybody knows the music...and sometimes they didn't talk til "join us again" but they didn't do that for this one...sometimes they didn't. Now they never do!

It doesn't matter to me if he talks or not. Ppl need to be informed of the highlights of the news too(real stuff, not necessarily Sally's sleeping with Snapper...)

I believe the episodes of the show broadcast in Australia are approximately six years behind the current shows here in the States... needless to say, many of the cast members are no longer part of the show and the opening has changed several times since!

No, that's not correct. We're eight to twelve months behind, according to reports. We were years behind, but they skipped four years, to bring us up to date, but still managed to leave us months behind. (sigh) Last ep I saw was Jack being appointed CEO of NVP.

Yes I remember. I prefered this coloured version than the black,whute an red version that already lasts since March 2003. I heard ATWT unveils again an new opening. Unfortunately YR always stays on the same opening style.
