where can I watch the whole movie?

  • a very good summary of what happens

  • What's that tune that starts at 2.03 I keep hearing it but I don't know its name

  • @Ecofreak96 This is a great role to gage an actor's skill, mostly because Hamlet is so schizophrenic. He goes from end of the emotional spectrum to the other within the span of one scene. David is an awesome actor, but he was so neurotic in DW that I feel it kinda limited him. There were some points where he got to stretch (the end of "Doomsday," for instance), but it wasn't a regular occurence.

  • David Tennant BLEW ME AWAY.

    Forget Doctor Who.

This shows what a fantastic actor he is; he swayed every emotion I had with his performance. He needs no props, no sets, just a script and his skill, to send chills down my spine.

  • i'm not a drama loving person but this movie changed it all it's so great

  • Niiice... If this doesn't make me like Hamlet and Shakespeare's work in general, nothing will...

  • Horrible version of Hamlet. The actors sound like they're bored amateurs. The music is tacky and forgettable. The sets are quite nice however.

  • I'm not gonna lie. When I first saw this film, the first thing I thought was:

    "OMG! IT'S PROFESSOR X!"

And then I loved it. :P

  • 1:45 I thought he pulled out his sonic screwdriver lmao <3

  • @xiimAfake i see im not the only doctor who fan on here, love David and Shakespeare soooo yeah im in nerd heaven!

  • @xiimAfake exactly what I thought at this moment xD

  • Wow. I LOVE Hamlet. I have been studying it for years and I have seen all, yes, literally ALL, of the adaptations available on video and DVD, as well as a few plays and read various versions, and I must say that watching Patrick Stewart play Claudius again was absolutely remarkable! The man is brilliant! He actually wrote an essay on how to play Claudius. The way they chose to end this particular version was exceptionally moving, as well. When he died reaching for Gertrude I got goose bumps!

  • First Hamlet I've seen and it is awesome

  • This was the first Hamlet ive watched and its awesome

  • 2:27 inspired me.

  • anybody knows the title of the music in the backgorund?

  • @SirToBeat Es Posthumus- Unstoppable

  • 1:47

    Sonic Screwdriver!

Wait, this is the wrong show...

Great video by the way! Although the "To be or not to be" was a little hard to hear.

  • Thanks all of you the comments!

  • I love E.S. Posthumus; he writes great music. Thanks for putting this up. I wanted to see clips of this version :D
