Another key to completing this I did with only 3 br's Run a buff lap to boost just before the finish and make sure you dont miss the first three speed pads. Gives you a nice cushion to start on. Common sense really someone must have done this also besides me?

His world record was with 11 BRs, save the booster before the long strip aim left of it, and BR into the air, hit the strip and land the BR, then do a 2 BR chain after that and do another 1 when you fall off, then hit the rail just right and do another BR. YEAH! Finally beat it... 30:69 with Icaras at the 87th lap... Also had an issue with the first two until I realized that I am dumb as bat shit... pitch the nose up as you jump off and things work out beautifully.

To everyone that doesn't know this:

Press backwards (to get your nose up) just before you hit the first boost, do the BR and press backwards again when you land, and you will be able to do the 2nd BR. Keep holding it down for a longer flight.

roll 1. you need to tip ur nose down just before the hump on the track, then boost and ul get ur height for the roll

roll 2. as soon as u exit the wide right bend into the left, bring ur nose up since ul still b travelling quite fast to get the next roll in.

He was just showing u the barrel rolls needed, what you need to do is save your bost until ur coming round for your second lap then just before you cross the line boost which basicly gives a second boost, then repeat what he did.

to make up that second you need, try saving your boost throughout a lap and using just before you get to the start line the second time around.

use it and it will be like boosting from the very beginning of a lap, but because you boost just "before" the line, you will end up with another boost.

give it a shot. i havent beat it either but thats how i get better times on speed laps.

But analog is more accurate, you hold it in posistion if you want to slightly turn left, rather than applying the exact amount of pressure on a d-pad.

What difference would it make if he made a video beating Zico's time? Isn't it obvious that he didn't beat the time in this run because he was on his first lap, missed speed pads and ran into walls? As he said in the description, "...I just want to show where to make the barrel rolls."

I assure you that if you run a perfect lap and hit enough speed pads while getting the barrel rolls he has so generously showed you how to get, you will beat Zico's time.
