and YES Duddy will get DESTROYED, that's a tune up fight for Pavlik, but I think it's a perfect fight for Pavlik coming off the fight with taylor...after that I'd either like to see Pavlik take a guy like Abraham or maybe the winner of Kessler/Calzaghe..

question for the kid.. when you grow up... boxer or commentator/analyst? youre already have the boxing knowledge so you could probably choose either. but youve got to hit the weightroom.

for the most part, he has been off the radar. IMO, pacman's well rested, havent heard any problems or distractions. there's no reason for him to lose this match w/ barrera.

didnt get to see the pavlik-taylor fight. i was hoping to watch it here on youtube. on pacquiao-barrera II, just an insight, being a filipino, i was in the same hotel early last month where pacquiao was staying and he along w/ coach f. roach were up early every morning working out w/o much distraction from the media. so i guess they're taking this fight w/ barrera more seriously than most think. I think some people just take Pacquio's lively sprit and his niceness with the fans as he doesn't take training seriously but I think that' not true, he obviosuly trains VERY hard when he hits the gym, and that' the most important thing, people get confused because he's such a lively personality and doesn't like to turn people down for autographs and things like that...He's GREAT for Boxing and he's one of my favorite fighters without question, I love Manny..

I agreed with just about everything you said. Great point on the Kermit Cintron vs. Berto comparison. To me, Berton reminds me a lot of a welterweight version of Jeff Lacy. Berto gets hit way too much. If he is going to compete with the elite of the division, he has to work on his defense immensely.

Manny will KO Barrera in the later rounds, 8-10. Manny Pacquiao is stronger today than the first time around against Barrera. Barrera is a fighter first, boxer second, Instinct (and revenge) tells him to fight Pacquaio not box, but I'm sure he trained to counter box Manny. Manny will hit the body hard. KO Barrera eventually in the later rounds. DO NOT COMPARE PACQUIAO TO HAMED. Hamed is a one punch fighter, Paquiao is none stop and can KO opponents with one punch.

Manny Paquiao is an ICON in the philippines, HBO showed Manny's life outside boxing accurately, CHAOS. Manny is very busy outside the ring, but when he trains, he trains very hard. True that the first two weeks in August, Pacquaio had some training issues, I think Pacquiao has been wanting to train in the Philippines for some time now, and Freddie training Oscar in PR, gave Manny that opportunity. Manny closed training camp to the public in by the end of August and trained 110%.

Kid, just to tell you about Manny Pacquiao, first of all, Manny was in excellent shape against Solis, dont underestimate Solis. Remember Solis was undefeated strong fighter. Pacquiao was taking it easy in the first few rds. trying to make it a good fight and also give Solis credit, but when Manny was cut, Manny turn up the heat and KO Solis.

Taylor loss because of his defense, his hands came down and he wasn't blocking Pavlik's jabs that were hitting Taylor head-on. This fight would have been a lot better if Taylor's kept his hands up, but he didn't. Eventually, I think Pavlik was too stron and too determine, and will eventually KO Taylor in the later rounds, not the 7th rd. Taylor should have finished Pavlik in the second round, but he didnt, Taylor punched himself out. I THOUGHT TAYLOR FEARED PAVLIK
