@repaate Yes it is true. In fact, they live in the same house, and it is also subtly sugested in two episodes that they share the same bed too.

@repaate Episode 4, "Reflections in a Ghoulish Eye", and episode 6, "Ship of Ghouls".

In both episodes the gang gets one room. Each room is shown to have only one bed. However, there are pillows in the first room for the dogs and Flim Flam at the far end of the room. The bed has two pillows on it, meaning it is for two adults. The second room has a couch for Flim Flam. This leaves the bed as the only place for Shaggy and Daphne to sleep. The pillow on this bed is large enough for two people.

@repaate Unfortunately I have seen the new series, which I have renamed Misery Stink Corpse-low-rated.

The most recent episode has Fred "proposing" to Daphne and her accepting. A complete disgrace to the original series. Luckily, Misery Stink along with all other Warner Bros. abominations are not canon.

Only the Hanna-Barbera Scooby-Doo is canon, and that series ended with Shaggy and Daphne being together. So that's what I stick with. Believe it!

And when Fred told daphne we are never speaking of him again. That was maybe the best part or the part of this series that i liked the most :D... Still i don't blame yea for not liking it when i first saw it i was like WTF?! xD...

@BelieveIt1051 They seriously have sexed up the show? I think ALL the Hanna Barbara incarnations sound better than that. I prefer anything Pup Named Scooby Doo and past and nothing much forward. I grew up with this stuff back even when USA and TNT use to air this stuff. Loved the original, the movies, the Scooby Doo show and even the other ones :O)

@PokeyBessie Yes SDMI is sexed up a lot. Daphne is put in a small bikini twice, a revealing leather outfit, and a revealing nightgown twice. There are also some sexual innuendos in some episodes. A total disgrace to the franchise. I also stick with the original H-B series over anything WB makes, though WB did okay on What's New Scooby-Doo and the recent Phantosaur movie was okay. Not like Camp Scare and Abracadabra-Doo which were sexed up.

@BelieveIt1051 I agree with you 100%. I'll take the "worst" Hanna Barbara Scooby incarnation over what you just described. I'm not sure which I would say is worst. Probably those little 10 minute mini sodes they did before "All new scooby doo show" and "Scooby doo mysteries" popped up in the mid 80s (Before 13 Ghosts). I hate that WB owns this series, they won't release anything hardly. I have to rare find it on here or elsewhere to watch the classic episodes!

@PokeyBessie Though I enjoyed the shorts with Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy, I have to agree that those were probably the least of the H-B Scooby-Doo series. Those were made during a time when most of Hollywood was on strike. That's partly why they got rid of Fred, Velma, and Daphne. They could only afford to keep Messick and Kasem as well as some unknowns. The writing also took a hit. Still better than WB though. WB doesn't know how to write for SD, and they won't release NSSDS or NSDM on DVD.

@repaate The last series was a pup named scooby doo... but the last series that they produced with the characters as adults was the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo

All that was produced before Warner Brother's took over in 2002
