this is one aspect of the game that makes no sense. a daemon prince or even just a chaos lord can defeat a force commander easily but a bloodthirster cant? just wierd...

I dont think ive ever used a bloodthirster though 0_o

my favorite thing to kill a force commander with is the defiler, it picks him up and slices the shit out of him and smashes him up, its awesome

I had to get the bloodthirster down to about 1/3 health before I got them to fight, but then again we are talking about the same game with space elves, orks, space communists and evil living metal :P.

Obviously the BT has to be injured by other units before the FC attacks him. Since BT is kind of a bullet magnet, this is only semi-rare. Also, the FC does have above average toughness and high damage vs demon high armor type so it isn't like he instantly dies to the BT. The main advantage of the BT over the FC is its massive health.

The main problem for a real 1v1 fight would be that the BT would break the FC's morale fairly early on. If that didn't happen, the fight would be pretty close.

yeah well id be pretty damn low moraled if i had to face a freakin bloodthirster. lol. a billion ton monstrous killing daemon. but yeah your right morale can make all the difference which is one reason chaos is cool because they are good at lowering others morale.
