  • Republican favorite type of testimony: I don't recall or I didn't know that.

    Liars.

  • i think i might be related to him?

  • Braley needs to go. And he's not the only one. The Democrats and Republicans have had a stranglehold on this country for too long. It's time for a third party. Independent, Libertarian, it doesn't matter. ROSS PEROT FOREVER!!!!!!!

  • whos in the blue what a crack whore

  • She needs to learn how to lie. Nancy, teach her.

  • Nancy Pelosi who quietly agreed to strip out of the $100 billion funding bill for Iraq a provision that would have required President Bush to seek congressional approval before launching any new war on Iran.

    Because AIPAC asked her to.

    She is a traitor

    watch?v=iWLBhgTQ46o

  • Just like Alberto Gonzales, she always says that she doesn't remember any of the events in question. Republicans somehow believe them when they blackout and have amnesia exactly when unethical acts are committed at their jobs.

  • Republicans wet dream is of American dominated politically and economically by large corporations... it's a form of fascism and it's called Corporcracy.

This woman is Bush's example of a leader.

  • you have no fucking clue liberal trash

  • why are these interviewers letting her get away with her non-answers, or her snarky ones? this woman should be a sobbing, snotty, disgusting mess at her desk. you appreciate our interpretation of this? you have a different interpretation? are you actually a paid member of the department of the gsa? i fucking hate you, congress.

  • It makes look like even more of a liar and jackass when she answers like that.

  • republicans should have their voters rights revoked.

  • For God's sake , people, google then read PNAC. America is being run into the ground by the Neocon Manifesto. Impeach the vile bastards already!

  • I'm not talking about Saddam. I'm speaking about the potentially impeachable Bush crimes.

Changing subjects, Saddam was to sell oil to France, Germany and Russia—only—while switching to the Euro. This only provides a motive to powerful oil interests within (and linked to) the Bush administration for attacking Hussein to secure PSA's (profit sharing agreements) the current benchmarks for leaving Iraq.

It certainly does not look good for our current administration. That is clear.

  • lt5lee

<<<What is your definition of denial?... False accusations?>>>

Just what are some of this administrations crimes for which several people could be impeached? READ ON BELOW..

  • Lying to the American people about WMD.

Starting a preemptive war based on lies for political gain and profit - Attacking a sovereign nation

    Revealing CIA covert operatives

The CIA brought charges against W's administration and won convictions against "Scooter" Libby for lying about participating in the leak.

  • Picking and choosing what legislation he will enforce through "writing statements"

  • According to conservative Republican Paul Craig Roberts, Assistant Secretary of Treasury under President Ronald Reagan, dubbed the "Father of Reaganomics," Bush has worked to take away habeas corpus and to dismantle the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. Terrorists are not anything like the threat that we face to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution from our own government—our own President—in the name of fighting terrorism.

  • Bush claims authority within a foreign nation to extract someone secretly, render them to a third nation for torture then lock them away forever without a trial or any evidence ever having to be produced. Not even Tiberius Caesar would do this to Jesus Christ. He and people of his day were at least given the privilege of a mock trial.

  • Warrantless wiretapping is a direct violation of the 4th amendment. Holding people without charge or access to council and without hope of such, for several years, is a direct violation of the 5th and 6th amendments. Torturing people, including, but not limited to, waterboarding, extreme sensory disturbance or deprivation to the point of inducing psychosis, and many other such techniques, violate the 8th amendment (to say nothing of the geneva conventions).

  • Violated the 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th amendments for a start.

  • Fascinating: When W is accused of crimes his supporters point to Clinton then say W did no wrong. When Clinton was accused of a crime, his supporters admitted Clinton's character defects but did not deem them State business. Even though W's alleged crimes are felonies or treasonous, his supporters deny the importance of the accusations and potential harm done to the US. Nevertheless in the next election, Dems will be accused of being soft on crime. Totally fascinating how denial works.

  • Sorry lt5lee, I am not going to argue such an obvious point with someone as idiotic as yourself. If you really believe GWB hasn't violated the US Constitution, then you are either a liar, or a total fucking moron. My bet is a little bit of both.

  • Are you on drugs or something? Wake up and read about GWB, he is a war criminal and has violated the constitution numerous times. What is really scary is we don't know most of what is going on...

  • No, the employees of the GSA are not allowed to break the law during their lunch hour, nor during any other time. It is against the law to conduct partisan political activities on GSA time, --OR-- on GSA property --OR-- using GSA materials and facilities, and it is very clear from this and other testimony that that is what happened.

  • Corrupt govt employees of any type need to serve prison time in the averrage s-hole prison ...

  • Actually, no, not according to the law. The same way the president cannot make fundraising phonecalls from the Oval Office. Government employees are meant to serve the whole country, not just one political employee.

  • OMG She could never be eaten by a snake because she is so slimy. She could wriggle out of the grasp of any Python. This is just like when Condoleezza Rice tapped danced around the "Bin Laden Determined To Strike in U.S.".

  • holly crap.

    Cought red handed!

  • She just don't remember, or she just don't know. I am making a list of all these evil doers, so I never forget their names. Who knows, they might be on another ballot sometime, and I sure wouldn't want to make the mistake of voting for any of them.

    Love & Peace

    Wiskawind

  • Magnificent example of someone suffering from RCRS. (Republicans Can't Remember S . .tuff)

  • It's funny that people say that saying that she can't recall protects her from a perjury charge. Do you think a jury of 12 people could see the sworn statements of everyone in that room and watch this testimony and not believe that she's lying? She would have to convince the jury that she couldn't recall, and that performance speaks for itself.

  • She got caught! Ha!

  • no more cruelly then we slaughter animals in n.america for visual documentation view...

    "chicken massacre"

    "cow massacre"

    "pig massacre"

  • Bravo, Nancy - this is the perfect venue for shining the spotlight on these types of hearings.

Lately, you'd think the country had a wave of amnesia or Alzheimer's ... no one remembers anything anymore. I don't remember ...I can't recall.

Thanks for posting this - and please keep your public informed with many more.

    Thank you

    Valerie

  • I feel much safer now that the Dems are in the congress. (smile) Soon America will have a new Pres, a Dem! (smile) "We the people," will count for something again!

  • And then she lies about it. Or else (worse) this kind of thing goes on all the time so she can't remember this one episode.

  • "How can we use the GSA to further aid republicans?" This is subversion of our government agencies for partisan politics. One more example of neo-cons placing their ideology over the founding principles of America. They are trying to consolidate their power before they are voted out of office in the next election.

  • I don't understand why people feel the need to be so negative. Why bother putting others down? Complete strangers who never asked for your opinion in the first place. If you don't like something - move on!

  • She probably don't remember she's a woman. She might think herself as a man.

  • What the heck does this have to do with anything? Its long since the time women had to pretend to be men to get anywhere, at least in the US.

  • This is what politics is, they make 'hit lists' of the seats up for grabs, they fire district attorneys... its called politics, people. Every party, every group, every faction, every presidential hopeful, they are all the same. This whole thing about the firings is unsettling, but not unexpected.

  • its fine to take part in politics, the issue is they did it in a government building and the GSA is supposed to be a nonpartisan group that works for all americans. it has nothing to do with the GOP and politicizing it is illegal. you break the law, you get in trouble. there was nothing wrong with the meeting if it was held in a GOP owned and funded establishment.

  • Gee, they held a meeting in a certain building. Thats awful. Ever heard the word "scapegoat"? People want to see heads rolling, no matter for what. When will we stop running after the minor baddies and actually try and improve the faults in our system? You can't just look at the end result if you want to fix the problems.

  • These *are* the faults in the system. There are also allegations of her awarding a no-bid contract to a friend and shady dealings involving a contract with Sun Microsystems that cost taxpayers millions. She clearly violated the Hatch Act. Lying about not remembering a meeting that happened less than 4 months ago is not a smart move. If I were as guilty as she is, I'd take the 5th, rather than add a perjury charge to all the others.

  • How sweet, Sergeant Hans Schultz has a granddaughter.

"I hear nothing, I see nothing, I know nothing!"

  • I can't remember anything.

  • She has CRS (can't remember sh*t). She also can't read. I can just see her being all chipper and enthusiastic and handing out donuts while she commits her criminal, fascist crimes.

  • Once again proof about how corrupt our government is. Dem & Repubs (Republicrats). We need a viable third party! Now!

  • And fourth!

  • what a douchebag. typical lying and misuse of power from this administration. I wished he would have asked if MC ROVE did a little rap/dance for everyone.

  • Jeez, Can you really get away with answering questions with "I can't remember" in the USA?

No wonder you lot get away with murder.

  • George Mitchell for President 2008

  • She must be really dumb not to remember anything!

  • repukes already cheating. lol do repukes have any ethics.

  • The fact that this president was elected by the people of this country TWICE is a scandal that will stay on the history book.

  • it seems the americans deserve their president..

  • Don't you guys have Nazi's in your parliament?

  • we HAD!

  • please elaborate

  • Yes, I actuaslly hope that alot of the people who voted for him the second time around are now realizing the terrible mistake. I am also hoping that it will help delay history repeating itself for a while. I am not saying a liberal is the answer, but the answer is certainly not this breed of Republican.

    /Vote libertarian

  • Lurita Doan should use the alzheimer's defence.

  • everything about this administration is so damn corrupt, and every member is a damn liar. how 30% of this country still supports them is beyond my comprehension.

  • I'm independent. But I have to say this.

This Bush Regime is the WORST ever... so ashamed.

  • wow. Thanks for keeping us informed.

  • GOP sucks ass

  • wow. how incredibly stupid republicans assume we all are. are you not offended? democracy does not work on its own accord, we must participate, be reasonable and make informed decision. only then, will democracy work as intended.

  • As long as you pretend dumb or under amnesia to avoid telling truth, you can not be prosecuted for perjury, what a smart woman...

  • No wonder they can't get Osama - incompetent freakin' Republicans.

  • Sounds delicious! I can't wait to try it!

  • Someone needs to throw this lying fat ugly bitch in jail. Put her on a lie detector test, hold her in contempt, someone please throw the book at her!!!

  • Somebody check that Turkey in the oven... I think she's done!

  • PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't post this comment to at least 3 videos, you will die within 2 days. Copy and paste this, to be saved

Back at ya, lol. What a lame chain message.

  • Sad, but funnier than the "MC Rove" video. How many scandals can one political party generate?

  • There are no limits.

  • "i uggh.. don't exactly know if, uh... can't, um...

    bobabooee bobaboobee howard sterns penis!!!"

  • I WANT MY TAX REFUND TRIPLED! KTHXBYE

  • Does anyone honestly care about this crap? Washington must be a boring town if a lunch meeting is the biggest scandle.

  • obviously not the biggest scandle since none of the networks reported it besides youtube...but looks like alot of people care about it based on the number of hits...

  • you would have the same stupid comment if the raped, gutted, and ate someone during their "lunch meeting". Retarded neo-con. They are all criminals and you could care less. We get it. You are probably a criminal too.

  • You're an idiot.

  • Yeah, using a gov't agency as a slush fund for planning the GOP's election strategy is such a petty, insignificant matter. Nothing to see here folks, move along!

  • I would ask Ms. Doan if "superior managers" are expected to be able to recall the meaning and purpose of power point presentations they attend?

  • Bimbo....she hardly knows what the hell goes on at the organization she heads. I understand shady stuff does go on in government agencies all the time and it's no suprise, but to have oblivious leaders is not acceptable. At least act like you know what goes on where you work, jesus.

  • FYI: she knows what goes on at the organization she heads, she's lying. Does that shady stuff bother you too? Because she does that as well, stay tuned to this story.

  • wow...so shes guilty. im guessing there will be a nonbinding rebuke. pelosi needs to do what san francisco voted for and impeach bush. id rather fight them over here then give up any more civil liberties.

  • yes. and yes.

  • Yeah man! I say lets have it out with them now.

  • wow...so shes guilty. im guessing there will be a nonbinding rebuke. pelosi needs to do what san francisco voted for and impeach bush. id rather fight them over here then give up any more civil liberties.

  • Hatch Act Madness!

Worst testimony ever - the GOP really need to train their people in skillfully evading direct questions (and yes, Bill Clinton was very good at it).

  • my middle school aged brother: 'it just sounds like she's making shit up.'

    hahahaha

  • Am I missing something? What is so bad about identifying the 20 seats your party is most likely to win? I don't see what is so wrong with this? And I'm a liberal! I just don't get what is so bad about target which seats you want to focus on!

  • Yes, you are missing something. It is illegal to turn government agencies into campaign machines for a political party.

  • Oh I see. I just thought it was a conservative strategy meeting or something. Didn't realize it was an actual agency.

  • shes kinda hot

  • Send her to prison. This is unbelievable.

  • next time I get in trouble I'm gonna say 'I have no recollection sir'

  • Quite frankly they're talking to the wrong person.

  • Lurita Doan and J. Scott Jennings should be *tried and convicted* under the Hatch Act. Period.

This is unacceptable to permit political activities in government Procurement. This is fascism, pure and simple.

  • thou art a retard

  • The Bushies don't believe in our form of government. They believe in themselves, in their ability to hold power indefinitely. The good thing is enough Americans still do believe in it to give them a good roasting. This is just the beginning....

  • agreed.

  • Guess What dunb-asses. Meetings on employee lunch hours

are not put to timecharge and NOT ONE THE TAXPAYER DIME! No violation of Htach act here. Sorry libs. you'll have to find something else to bitch about.

  • Hey Raider: the Hatch Act says a federal employee can't do that sort of politics on federal property, period, no matter who pays for it. You might want to know a little bit more about the law before you start calling people "dunb-asses." (You might also want to learn how to spell "dumb-ass" correctly).

  • check mate!

  • it's not the technicalities, Raider, it's not the technicalities. The technicalities are only important legally speaking... it's the broader idea of what was involved in the situation, the moral aspect, the ramifications of such a thing. think bigger, Raider, and let go of your predefined categories like "libs" and conservatives.

  • Hey assclown - since being a liberal means respeting the constitution and being republican now seems to mean being a crook and a FACIST- GO FUCK YOUR SELF.

  • She admitted that is was on government property which is one violation of the Hatch Act, so you're wrong.

  • perfect democracy: evidence on table but politicians talk BS on and on

  • The Hatch Act is what it is. Whether in ohter times Democrats did similar is irrelevant. As a former government employee IKNEW from the day I signed up that politial activity at the work place is ILLEGAL. Check out the GSA Inspector General video and see how these people can accept millions in inflated bills on a no-bid contract! Illegal activities at the work place, corruption, and perjury are not Republican or Democrat. This seems more like "power by any means possible".

  • amazing how these people have these important government jobs and all have terrible memories when the shit hits the fan. 'i don't recall, i don't recall, me no know, ah derrrr'

  • When will she be prosecuted for violating the Hatch Act?

  • damn...what type of leader forgets things when they are in charge...sounds to me she can't take the heat. come on now, be a woman take charge of your actions.

  • I kinda feel sorry for her, corruption is rife hehe, she was only doing what she got thought programmed into thinking was right (muted giggles)

    Squirm politicians squirm!!

  • i noticed the handouts were in color, why use color when its jus goin to go in the trash in an hr, black and white would of saved money, time, and had less of an environmental impact. wasteful govt

  • If this surprises you, regardless of which cheek of the ass you kiss, you need more life experience. Once you work near a politician, political issue, or gov't organization you would see that this kind of shit goes on all the time. I wonder what the actual punishment for this will be.

  • RESTORE THE CONSTITUION! Stop being sellouts. This is probably a smoke screen for something else.

  • My question is: Does she run the GSA or not? Because she seems completely unaware of anything going on there. At the very least she should be fired for incompetence!

  • Lie and deny...the Republican mantra!

  • I'm a conservative, but I've had it with the erosion of our freedoms in this country. Democrats where are you on this??? You can't all be puppets are you? Is there anyone with a backbone left in this country? Or do you all sell out for power and greed? How can you sleep at night?

  • wow retarded democrats give it up, they had a freakin pep rally, who cares?

  • Partisan pep rallys on the tax payers dime are illegal and have been for generations.

  • The taxpayers who are funding it, perhaps?

  • cause it was against the law

  • Jesus Christ was a compassionate conservative. He helped the needy, taught people to fish (versus liberals who degrade human potential) and he promoted freedom through virtue and a belief in God and oneself...not government.

  • funny how this government argues for less gov but does the opposite

  • Jesus Christ was a poor man who was all about helping the POOR and sacrificing for all those less than you...everyone of your Republican favorites are RICH and most hate anyone who doesn't agree with their narrow view of what life should be....think Jesus would love that? How small minded can you be?

  • I don't remember Jesus teaching people to fish. I remember him GIVING hungry people fish....

    Jesus was a hippy.

  • Have you read the New Testament? You have a lot to learn about Jesus and the compasssionate conservatism of the Bush administration. What would Jesus say about 600,000+ dead Iraqis? And how does, for instance, $8.8 billion in cash missing in Iraq promote freedom? Is that virtue and not government.

    It's time to wake up.

  • this is unbelievable-- these slides are UNAVOIDABLE

to say that they're vague is absurd-- each slide is blatantly militant toward the democratic party and was obviously a COMPLETELY partisaned meeting

the fact that this is under any dispute by these baby eating republican psychopaths

this woman's selective memory seems to surface at a rather opportune time... fucking bullshit

  • Poor girl. She has such an important job, yet can't remember crap. It must be tough.

  • What scum! That woman needs to be destroyed.

  • B.: One PPoint slide "How to steal the election"

    LD: That's not mine.

B.: One credit card receipt for PPoint slide "How to steal the election" signed by Lurita Doan.

LD: I'm telling ya baby, that's not mine.

B.: One warranty card for PPoint slide "How to steal the election", filled out by Lurita Doan.

LD: I don't even know what this is! This sort of thing ain't my bag, baby.

B.: One book, "PPoint slide How to Steal the Election By Me: This Sort of Thing Is My Bag Baby", by Lurita Doan.

  • LD: I don't recall writing it. You need to ask the publisher.

  • Great Theater! Democracy at work.

  • She should be forced to answer yes or no about whether or not she actually said something. Such a sleazy attempt to avoid perjury.

  • at the end of the hearing, as she's walking out, she tells her assistant to get her water glass so nobody lifts her fingerprints. what a dumbass. who wants her stupid slimey fingerprints. what the hell does she think anyone could do with them anyway...what an idiot.

  • A 500-slide power point presentation? Come on, who remembers all the slides.

  • Think maybe she remembers when the White House came to the agency she heads? Introducing the speaker? Saying "what can we do to help Republicans?" at the conclusion?

  • a feeling of exhaustion hit me after watching this video

  • Remember, RR taught rebubliscams how to evade the truth with the "I do not recall" answer. Legally, it doesn't mean you don't remember, or didn't do it, it simply means you don't recall, perhaps by choice.

I think she should be held in contempt of congress and sent to jail for refusing to answer, as RR should have been.

  • Amazing what happens when the democrats control the house and can set the agenda for hearings.

  • I didn't have sex with that woman!

  • Are we supposed to be surprised that Republicans "win" elections by cheating? Maybe this was news years ago, but why is it even still going on?! Are Democrats actually doing their jobs now or something? Now that's news!! Actually, Domocrats doing ANYTHING is news.

  • so you bring this topic to about politics.. for obvious benefits

  • Kinda incoherent there, aren't we, buddy?

I'm not the one bringing up politics, watch the video, it's about politics. DUH.

How would I benefit from this? You don't make much sense.

Wait, why am I talking to a crazy?...

  • She should join "SCOOTER" in a cell.

  • agreed

  • Either she is a liar or so totally stupid she shouldn't be in government.

  • this is funny how people can just avoid any question with ease, politics are politics and always be politics. haha.

  • interpretation: "of course i have no idea what goes on in my office that i am head of, i'm a political appointee, i'm not here to do a job fools, i'm here to collect a fat paycheck."

  • the democrats FINALLY fight back

  • Plausable deniability has been a cornerstone of contemptable government officials for decades. Is it any wonder that society is stressed when those at the top repeatedly worm their way out of anything.

  • who the fuck is this stupid slant eye bitch?

  • She's black, not asian, you stupid bigot.

  • What a bunch of bullshit your all the same Dems & Rep the only defferance is the way they want to fuck Americans.

  • i HATE how government officals act so dumb and ignorant when questioned.. there is soo much bull shit going on in our government, i just dont know anymore..

  • Reinstate the guillotine...

  • LOL, Rove is so gonna let her take the fall on this.

  • Sickening.

  • The Bush administration is taking a long piss on our laws and constitution

  • Wonder if actually poste by Nancy Pelosi.

She said "no recollection" which doesnt deny so its basically an admition.

The Bush administration is hurting our country for centuries to come.

  • did you smoke it? i dont remember

did you screw it? i dont remember

did you steal it? i dont remember

did you see it? i dont remember

do you remember? i dont remember

liars often dont remember anything that shows they are liars

thieves often dont remember anything that proves they are thieves

all of these people are sickifant scum and need to be put in prison for life or convicted of purjery, high treason and dealt with accordingly

  • LOL, she's worse than the Iraqi Information minister guy.

  • My goodness, Lurita. Is that seat getting a bit warm?

  • It's almost painful to watch her squirm. It came from her office, but she doesn't know anything about it. We need more accountablity! At the end, watch her shift her eyes to the side, a sign of lying when she again, "doesn't remember" peace

  • Yep, her body language is very telling. Her ludicrous lies notwithstanding her body language says, "You got me. I'm guilty."

  • Buzzbone: Yup, it's called "checks and balances." When one branch screws up, the other branches of the federal government are supposed to investigate and fix it. Using taxpayer dollars, employees, and time to campaign for one party or another is against the law. People skirt the law all the time-but this is so blatent it has to be slapped down.
