It's a wooly husky not a malamute! Alaskan Malamutes do not have blue eyes unless of course mixed with a Husky and they are much larger than that full grown even females. Even if it was mixed with a Malamute it would still be much larger than that. Some Huskies can get that fluffy. People just seem to think its a Malamute because of the thickness of its coat.

This Sibe is absolutely beautiful. I love all huskies. And yeah this is a Sibe. They come in three coat lengths...short, medium, and long. It is too small to be a Malamute, and can't be a mix cause both eyes are ice blue. If it were Malamute or a Malamute-Husky Mix then both eyes would be brown, or one brown & one blue eye.

Aw he's sweet...he's a "wooly" Husky. I have a wooly and some say he's fat too, but the vet says he's just fine. I also have four traditional Sibes. Woolies look a bit different (longer fur, wider and shorter bodies), but they are so sweet. All five of mine love to talk and they howl together too! It's great to hear!

nooo .. looks like a pure breed .. the husky comes in two coat types, one is standard (short) and the other is Wooly (long)

the wooly coat is less seen because for a working husky it poses more harm to the dog, snow gets stuck in it and it takes longer to dry.
