Man....I just got another insight into how clever/ingenious jimi hendrix is with the hit of the high note kinda in reverse play at 2:04 ...on the section just prior you bend the note up and then hit the note on the high note on the E string but then come down two frets and hit once and follow with two picks on the high e string...sounds really nice.

Good Luck ! I had a fully fused neck caused from a ATV that wheeled over on top of me. I have limited head movement due to a flat rod screwed to all 7 neck vertebrates The nerves to the fingers and hands run through the neck. So I bought my first ever guitar (acoustic) in Sept 2008. Its been a great help and its fun. but don't get discouraged, even the best guitar players have their moments of doubt. This is a good song to learn by the way.
