People should be able to wear what they want without being branded or judged. Its all too easy to fit people into a box and lable it. I don't give a shit what people wear, It's how people behave and treat others that really matters, if you think you're a better person just because you wear certain clothing then you're a shallow idiot with no debth. I like to dress a certain way, but how I dress has nothing to do with who I am. We shouldn't generalize, its not a healthy or intelligent way to be.

It is healthy and intelligent, and in fact a good thing to do. It was MLK who said "Judge a man by the content of his character," if I see someone dressed like a trashy bum I will automatically think he's a trashy bum, If I see someone dressed like a ghetto piece of shit, they I will automatically assume he's a ghetto piece of shit. The world & business will judge you on how you dress, its how you present yourself to the world. If you can't understand that, you need to grow up.

The content of someone's character includes how they dress dumb ass, he means that a man should not be judged on what he was born with but should be judged on all other things not pertaining to what he was born with. I have no problem with you judging my credibility by my username, your judging the content of my character, or in this case my username lol, and that's entirely okay. Also a person who dresses in a particular way because of a fad, and because everyones doing it deserves to be judged. Again, he said judge a man by the content of his character, how you dress is part of your character, do I have to make this point again?

i dont think its the fashion trends that hipsters typically have that people find annoying. its the "im better then you attitude" that goes along with it and what a hipster really is. The idea that being different from the "mainstream" makes them a better person then somebody who likes things that are popular. people who like clothes, music, or any other trend that is popular dont like those things because they are popular... those things are popular because a lot of people actually like them.

"A hipster will not admit to being a hipster"... So if I say that I'm a hipster... I'm not a real hipster. If I totally looks and acts like a hipster and say "I'm a hipster" that makes me a non-hipster. So basically you're the only one who can judge if somebody is hipster or not. That's pretty random :D
