If you like this then you will like the band I manage, The Ran-Tan Waltz.. Hyped by NME, major support slots last/this year, 2 big London shows coming up in April. New EP released on Philophobia Records etc... Vids on the youtube profile x
one of the most underrated rock bands of our times. they don't get nearly enough credit than they should. its always some passing through shit, never an out and out declaration of how truly amazing they were. they set the bar, and others followed suit. echo and the bunnymen>>>U2, and i love U2 and all, but echo and the bunnymen were exponentially more innovative in their songwriting.
The Bunnymen were so superior to The Cure it isnt even funny. The Bunnymen were a great rock and roll band which is far from what The Cure was which was mediocre whinning bubble gum pop with eyeliner and all.
i was lucky enough to go to one of the 2 nights at the RAH. it was brilliant. each seats on the higher levels had a leaflet with a running order. the support was an organist playing bach! it was on the bottom of the leaflet where it said "lay down thy raincoat and groove".
UONDERFUL

THe cure were trying to be something they werent. I quite like "a forest" though...

Maestro,
Nevertheless, both groups defined the 80s music era. The music and sound that came from that generation was unique. Long live the 80s.....

This group sucks very hard.
I have their first four albums , and all them are fucking boring.
The cure is a lot better

Utter rubbish!!! Crocodiles is a defining 80s indie album. I only saw them once but they were brilliant. I rate The Cure but this mob are superior.
