This is certainly something to think about. On top of all of the people suffering memory loss directly from chemicals, there are also hundreds of thousands children born to those who have drugs in their system. These children can not hold a memory long enough to build any sort of knowledge base, and teaching them is near impossible. These children are our future. We thought it was bad with fetal alcohol syndrome, but it's nothing compared to chem brain.

First, let me say that I am sorry that you have suffered this scourge of our planet. One in three will suffer some form of cancer. I have had to undergo treatment for malignant melanoma. Thank the Lord that I was aware of what chemo can do to a person who,is at best, at the bidding of an onocologist. Top of the class, bottom of the class. All are still doctors.

In short. When a person hears the "c" word, it suddenly can put one in a state of shock. Most people will tell the doctor to do everything. This video, I think, is for those who have yet to hear that diagnosis. For them,it will cause them to take pause and research the pros and cons of chemo in relation to the diagnosis.

The fact is that we should not be scared about it, damage is normal, when this cause a SIGNIFICANT damage to our social, psychological or physical life aspects is when WE specialists try to do our best, as well to diminish to the less this "colateral damage", medicine in our days is way too advance to help people.

im a neuropsychologist, in my experiencience, i can conclude that a chemo brain can be obteined after a hard chemotherapy, i underline "hard" as agressive, no just any chemotherapy, because there are several types and intensities. If a person with cancer wants a therapy is his/her choise as long the information is complete.

Part 1: I'm no expert, but what I've read indicates that oncologists (cancer docs) and drug companies have denied this can happen, and ignored complaints from patients. Now studies show it does happen. Even if some form of chemo is still the best choice, that doesn't make this information irrelevant.

If cancer is advanced or in proximity to never cells, than they get destroyed as well, which don't regrow. Chemo has sever side effects and they do tell you, but in most cases its either that or death.

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to freaking people out about chemo brain, once you take the chemo drugs you can't go back and undo. This video hopes to point out to newly post treatment victims of cancer is to ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LONG TERM SIDE EFFECTS- The problem is, you may need the drugs to survive, in most cases, but what price do you pay for survival in the long run. This is a serious condition. ASK QUESTIONS! Maybe some drugs can be eliminated?
