ODST was an original consept. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's the first, first person shooter that isn't straight forward killing, getting to an objective then the level ends. I mean yes it does do that a few times but in the streets of Mombasa you really get that 'free roam' feeling. It's a good game even if it doesn't have online. I just hate it when people buy Halo for the multiplayer then you talk to them about 'Master-Cheif' or 'Rookie' and they're like 'who'? It just annoys me.

This game had great atmosphere, music, and I liked the characters more than the ones from Reach (excluding the empty-shell-protagonists). What made people diss ODST was that it was overpriced for an expansion, and that it’s ending was too sudden and from nowhere.

To be honest, I actually kind of liked ODST despite its overall reception.

It's sickening to know that most people only care about multiplayer nowadays. @TheForever121 He's still stuck on a half exploded ship, and we presume crashed into a world that was shown in the Ledgendary ending for Halo 3, some people think the world we think he crashed onto, is the world Halo Reach is based on, since Halo Reach is before Halo1, and that world was destroyed, we think it's that planet, because thats what it looks like, watch the Halo 3 Ledgendary Ending. =)

It was for the pc and it was the best first person fighter game thing that I had ever played up until then, and I still remember how I loved the story and gameplay. People slate this game dont know why, yes it was short (bungie only intended it to be an add on game)but if you love halo it ticked all the right boxes for me.
