Are you telling me ur happy with PAYING full game-price to TRY out a Beta to then find out you have an embarrassing cardboard cutout pit crew, no better graphics to rF1, drivers with no animated gear changes & textured surroundings that wouldn't look out of place during the Windows 98 era?
@skybaby68 Not sure where the confusion is. You buy the game and you get to try the beta. They're a small company, and nobody forced anyone to buy it. Ive been playing racing sims since the early 90's, and this is by far the most immersive one ive played. Taking into account current games like iracing which i still have an active sub for, and pcars. And no i dont agree with you on the graphics. Shit go play pcars which is meant to look amazing, doesnt look that much better when your playing it.
@0187Koffi Pit Crew? Gear Change Animation? Non-laughable rain effects? Visuals & Immersion that would equal arcade titles such as F1 2011? Is this too much to ask in 2012?
@skybaby68 Lets put it this way. Racing SIMULATORS are a niche market. Any developer that puts in lots of money is always pushed to make it an arcade game. Any small developer like the old papyrus, isi, simbin has relatively limited resources so something takes a cut and for as long as ive been playing sims phyiscs is the top priority. Id love to play a game that had cutting edge graphics as well as phyiscs, seeing as has ever done yet, maybe yes it is too much to ask for in 2012.
@0187Koffi I know exactly what you mean, Gran Turismo 5 has really great graphics, and even the sound is getting there but it probably hasn't got the realistic car behaviour rfactor2 has.
@0187Koffi Yeah sure this software will come to life through the talents of clever mod creators but it shouldn't HAVE to RELY on these clever guys. The money grabbing franchise should atleast give the player a full package, an immersive experience without cutting corners!
