Yeeah, Randy was my only major GPS figure. I got him in 2004 from eBay because Razorbeast was already one of my favorite early BW figures. Randy started breaking within a day or 2 of being out of his box. And holding him to fix what broke usually made another part break! I never understood why until I read about GPS on the TFwiki 2 years ago. Today, he's a small collection of gold parts at the bottom of my Beast Wars drawer. Not even enough are there to even try, but I'm keeping as an example.

Just bought a transmetal megatron today. Opened it up, began transforming it, instantly shattered in my hands. Went to move the head and it just 'pinged' across the room.

there have been a couple of people talking about this guy having gold plastic syndrome and i am so @22**** scared i love starscream and i can't wait for leader stascream possibly my favorite leader class, but i need someone to tell me about their thoughts of brekage.

Yikes, you barely touched it but still broke. That is lousy quality in a toy. Hate figures that are like that.

It´s such a pitty that figures like this will not survive more than a few more years; apart from enclosing them in see-through resin, I can´t think of anything that would really work against Gold (or brown, poor Magnaboss-Silverbolt) Plastic syndrome... :( but great review as always, and even when Randy will have one day completely turned to dust, you will at least have this video to show to your grandchilds... ^^

Awesome review as usual Rob. that GPS looks scary, ill stick with razorbeast, although saying that ive never had a problem with torca, sad to see you broke him already :(
