  • There has to be axises I believe on the headlights and a code to activate them, i mean to activate the headlights opening, the code should have something to do rotating the headlight axis that you make and putting the light at the headlights area, so the same keypress will open the headlights and the same time place a pair of lights on the headlights

  • Okay, i have ZModeler 2.2.2 and i want to edit the collision files so i can enter the back of a truck and a van.

How do i edit the .dff file to get the collision. With ZModeler, i managed to import the benson.dff but i don't know how to edit the collision.

I don't know what tool to use in ZModeler to edit them.

    Can you help?

  • I can help I can moddel with kight rider cars!!!

  • can i get a answer

  • eer you watched the video right?

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!_f g5u4 w3que45z 82hz34p45zdth370 95zbg8723753543%&$%§T%§&$§%&GB$...

  • maybe tobie might have knowledge about this ..

  • he said there might be many problems, but i only told him about zmodeler, ill send him this video now

  • Hmm... There isn't much of a solution to this. Max and ZModeler use different materials. So, unless your gonna write your own script, you can't really change it. ;)

Sorry about the bad news... :(

  • yea but i think the 3ds max problems are the reflections? what about you test it? I saw your vids you got experience with it...

    :D

  • Yeah, that's the problem, Max does not have as good a material as ZMod does. ;) Therefore your getting the reflections. :)

You might be able to fix it by changing the "Gloss" settings in your GTA Material. ;)

  • hm, can you tell me where i find it?

  • Oh, actually, not the gloss setting. :)

But I think there's some kind of specularity setting. If not, just try a few other settings and see if that helps.;)

But remember, the ZMod exporter is made especially for cars. So it may be good to learn about ZMod. ;)

    Good luck and happy modding!!

  • but Zmod. has problems with the windscreen, tailglass & interior :/

Yea Zmod is easier to use, I would be able to do many things with it. The problem is i never worked with 3ds max so idk what to do :/

  • Hmm.. Yeah, I can't really say I have any suggestions. ;( Sorry dude. I've never really used ZMod so I can't really help with that. ;)

Well, good luck! Let me know if you work it out. ;-)

Don't forget, the people at GTAForums may be able to help! :)
