As an observation only immediate thing i could see is he needs to bring his punches back to his chin quicker.. think the boxers in the top 10 would make him pay for that.. jabs are slow. I still think he is worth the price of entry though! We love a knockout
I like watching him fight, he has got better and better with time.. I think he would give anyone in the top 10 problems with his power but i also think they could trouble him with some simple boxing skills .. in saying that this guy has the 1 punch which could end the fight... i'd like to see him against someone like Arreola, Adamek if he beat them both then he could fight the much taller heavyweights.. i def think he has a few scalps in the top 10
@LupeI09 Your right... I think if he had got the fight against Tua like he wanted.. Tua would knock him out within 5... I think the difference is Tua has far superior boxing skills and can match him if not more for power.
@blazeurself Heh, well he`s yelling a fight with Helenius atm. I think Helenius will teach him few things if it ever happens,,, honestly i dont see it happening but who knows..
Wilson belongs at Cruiserweight, I don't think he has the skills to compete at heavyweight. He's got alot of bad habits in the ring like not using his jab enough. And Leapai would get destroyed by any heavyweight with a decent jab.
@Cheehoo9 Of course I know it's called style, and it's not a style for fighters of his height and shape. The style he's using is for short stocky guys and, contrary to your lack of insight, this style doesn't suit him. For his height and reach, he needs to throw more straight punches for the sake of accuracy and effectiveness. It would make him a better fighter.
If this guy comes over to America, I think he'd be the next big thing in world heavyweight boxing. he might just be the one to revive the heavyweight division. He has incredible punching power in both hands. Thanks for the post, leati
Maybe Leapai should start throwing straight punches, then it would be easier to finish off his opponents. He shouldn't be throwing punches like that as if he were a short and stocky guy like Tua or Tyson. I wonder if his trainers know what they are doing.
@theephraimite i agree with you bro.. if he wants to win the world title or a shot at it he has to learn how to sharpen up his boxing skills.. he fights too loose and seriously needs to tighten up his punches.. any decent boxing trainer knows that his style is the easiest to defeat..
but best of luck to the uso.. best of luck to all our samoan fighters!!

Leapai is a tough, hard hitting hombre. If he can learn some better skills and improve his speed, he will be a real force.
