  • I see that you moved your chipset pipes from its original block down to the board's copper block. Does this mean that with that chiller unit I can put those pipes on anywhere that I want without spilling any liquid? Sorry, but Im planning to move up to watercooling, and I'm just learning all of this stuff. Does that unit already come pre applied with that liquid or do I have to add it myself?

  • I like your set up. However not a fan of the case.

  • When will it be released? It was annouced back in January, but I haven't heard anything about it since.

  • why dont they get the highest marks on 06 and use 4 3870s thats will get like 30k easyly maybe more

  • cant you can only use 4 cores in total...since 2 cores are on each card 2 cards is the most that can be used...

  • when will they creat drivers to allow 6 gpus already

  • Is this cooler out yet?

  • Can you post some game videos on youtube using your system Bro???

  • LOl why u calling CoolitSystem 'bro' this is a company not an individual

  • nice! think im gonan buy your products! but cheaper prices would be a appreciated :)

  • I assume your 18K stock score was with the processor at stock as well?

  • Chassis and CPU cooling is the Custom Boreas MTEC Chassis which is based on the Silverstone TJ07 with the CoolIT Systems Boreas Chiller

  • A custom Boreas? I guess the stock Boreas can't handle these loads then...

I'd guess this was very inefficient and very loud :/

  • The only customization was teh Boreas was plumbed for the chipset and CPU only. The cooling for the Graphics Card was handled by the Dual Drive Bay Reference Series AT version with the HD3870X2 block on it. This allowed us to push the processor above 4.6GHz as well as push the 3870 X2 core to 931 and Memory to 1116 MHz

  • how the fu** can you get 23k with 1 Gcard??

  • Really good card

  • Brilliant performance, awesome price. This card is a must have since it's cheaper then the 8800 Ultra while beating it.Still Crysis is alive and kicking :/ .

  • Asus Maximus Extreme

  • NICE ATi still has a little kick left in them, see if they can beat their competitor soon to come

The 9800 GX2, and if you're wondering tomhardware has pics and exclusive info about it, so I can't say that I'm right, but you can't say I'm wrong

  • Two HD3870X2 practicly is Crossfire-X with four cores, but the card will not support Crossfire-X physicly as it only has one Crossfire-bridge connector on each card. You can also install one X2 and two HD3870 as far as I understand by connecting one bridge to the X2 and a regular, and then a bridge between the two regulars.

  • they are running only one X2 card

  • Nice videocard! Thanks ATI

  • Thats one sweet block, Ill take two!

  • I should have asked its estimated Australian retail price, or its RRP in general.

  • ATI rocks!

  • 3870 X2 can only be run two of, means 4x, but its slightly more powerfull than a CF 3870 which the 3870 X2 is, just higher core clocks, and lower memory clocks, orginal clocks for a 3870 is 777//2200

    3870 X2 825//1800 or something.

ive pushed the nice 2900 XT to 950//2400 so =)

  • LoL, that beast isss hot! Unless on liquid.

  • u can put 4 of these in 1 system with the right drivers i tink :P , would make 8x HD3870 :D

  • I want one! :)

  • its price?

  • Hm, but what about the temps, thats what i wona see.

    BTW: Cool song :D

  • Spoke with tech who ran tests. The GPU cores were at 51 and 49 during the Canyon Flight Run. This was about 30 degrees cooler than our run with the stock cooling in place

  • lol n1 :D
