Aww.. this is one of of the best parts of living in Orange Beach! The dolphins & whales. I just hate to think what the impact of the oil spill has done to them and all the sea life just terrible.
So much has been lost - all for the GREED of BP, our "DRILL BABY DRILL" idiots, and everyone that thinks only of the all mighty dollar that is loosing value each day.
IT"S A PEICE OF PAPER - help your neighbors and fellow man, share, learn, build, enjoy what we have left before it's all gone.
The current LMRP Cap is not working. Two thirds of the oil is still escaping into the Gulf. The sooner we recognize the failure the sooner we can move on to a better solution. There should be dozens of LMRP Cap designs in process with the best designs being candidates for consideration as a replacement. I can’t understand why we are waiting. If BP had a solution they would have the well sealed by now.
Whoever is saying these are not killer whales should really get their eyes checked! You can even see the tall dorsals of the males plus the eye patces and saddle patches when they surface. These are definitely killer whales!
There are two groups of whales the ones that eat seals and the onces that eat tuna etc. they do this because they live in two different climates. They have just adapted to the environment they are in, different hunting tactics for the pray they eat. If you were to put the seal eating ones in an area with tuna they wouldn't survive because they wouldn't know how to catch the tuna. vice versa for the tuna eating orcas
Well the thing is, they dont, killer whales live in cold water and eat seals, however these live in warm watter and eat tuna, some people think its cuz of global warming, I think its evolution
Hey I live in Texas does anyone know a close place to see whales like this!!??

@Jada6931 No, these are definitely orcas. Their size, the eyespots, and the saddles are tell-tale signs that these are indeed orcas.
