  • But will it blend?...

  • Im 6ft 1inch and Im totally comfortable in my '94 miata

  • i loved my nb mx5, ive had bmw 328 and golf gti turbo but they dont come close to the mazda,

  • This looks bigger than the older miatas. But at least the bumper isn't smiling.

  • id like to put 22,000 dollars in my 92 miata =P

  • Oeh I have this car:D and I love it!!

  • me gusta este video

  • I have a silver 99 miata. Im 6'2 and its a perfect fit with the set all the way back. Love the sexy style of the NB series. If your a guy Id seriously recommend buying a miata in any colour except for red haha.

  • @dustziggy I have a supercharged '90 Miata.. I am 6' tall and I feel like I could be taller and still feel comfortable.

  • I read it i have a subscription of the magazine

  • Timothy I totally agree I will define you as the top of the latter to fit in the Miata. Guys get your favorite color and don't mind any factors, Life Happens only once enjoy the woman of your life and your dream car as well, some Sports Cars in red are like an eye candy for Cops but after 12 years of driving Miatas I can tell you is not a Target for cops to stop you and is not even a target for thief so there is some piece of mind to go with your purchase. Blessings!

  • should i get a red or silver mx5?

  • icy blue niseko - they are downright gorgeous! :)

  • I would get red myself.

  • RED....

  • @psionex2320 So you're choosing between the most common colour for sports cars and the most common colour for ANY car... haha :P I'd probably go with red, but since that was six months ago you've probably bought one by now if you were planning to.

  • No sweat guys anyone over 6' tall can just remove some seat padding and there you have your dream car, don't let anything get in the way when you want something.

  • I own a 2007 and am 6'3" tall. I fit fairly well in it, but I wouldn't suggest it to anyone taller.

  • I have a '93 mazda miata and I'm 6ft 2in lol.

  • @RUDAMENTRY Same here.

  • Between buying this and the Mini Cooper S, I'm having a tough decision! Both great cars. But the Miata is dominating on reliability and style.

  • Miata ftw! I have driven a brand new cooper and the new miata. I like the Miata much better. Hints why I bought one. If you need to have something to carry stuff then get the cooper tho.

  • I agree, I used to work for a rental car company, and I can tell you that I saw many mini cooper owners renting cars because of i.e. tranny or electrical problems. Didn't rent many cars to Mazda owners (that's a good thing). I have a 2005 LS Miata, if you can get past the inevitable "cowl shake," than it's definitely a car for you, handles well, 28+mpg, cheap insurance, and reliable!

  • That's the same decision i'm trying to make

  • The closest thing one can compare to the MX5 is the S2000. The Mazda is between $8000 to $12000 cheaper, and both the Honda and Mazda are high quality sports cars. But, believe me, you can really get into trouble with either one of these sports cars...I mean getting tickets and/or losing your driving license. If you buy one of these cars, don't lose your grip on reality. You are driving a high performance sports car, keep the speedometer in check.

  • look, its just such a classic car to own...i have had a red Mx5 1990 soft top for two years now and i never grow tired of it...no one owns one here (S.france), which means a lot of attention (wanted and not so wanted). Its endless pleasure in the summer and spring.

  • I so fell in love with the MX5 years ago.

I just have the strong feeling that I have to own one one day.

My only problem is my height: 1.86 metres :(

  • My father is taller then you. At 6 feet 4 inchs. He fits just fine.

  • At 6 feet 4 inches he cannot fit "just fine".

  • I tried it and I´m not able to shut the top.

  • He does fit. It's kinda a pain for him to get in but once he is in he is comfortable.

  • If i had a car company im sure I would listen to the consumer. theres decades of cars does and donts dont know why they still fail.

all that money and they cant make a sports car with 35mpg. HAH yea right.

  • Oh and the Opel GT (Saturn Sky Redline) is possibly the best GM car sold today along with the corvette. All the rest are pure garbage and even these two are semi-garbage mechnically speaking.

  • This or an Opel GT?

  • Mazda is 24,000 times better.

I got one and i can assure you that is mechaniccally great. Opel GT is not comparable.

  • I suppose you've driven an Opel GT...

  • i am a GM fan but the kappa platform sucks

  • Well, I am honestly leaning towards the mx-5 option. The reason I ask is because I am considering both ( and at slightly more money the 2009 Z4).

The idea that the Opel GT is part of GM to behonest seals it for me. I've had GM and never want to have it again. They are, every single one of them, the worst cars in their category. It is no wonder the brand is out of business, they are just bad at what they do.

  • Honestly ... I did not drive the Opel GT, but i know the structure of both the car, aand the reliability of the Mazda brand and of the Opel/GM brand. On the paper the Mx-5 is better, and they are perfectioning the Mx-5 since the late '80.

Really, i do not have doubt about that.

If you prefer the Opel GT for the design or engine power or anything esle, do not worry and take the Opel. The personal taste are not arguable.

    See ya.

  • Hehe.. yeah, we all know what the MX-5 is worth and as you hinted, we don't really know what the Opel GT is worth... Opel is really hot. I mean REALLY hot, but the way you have to get out of the car to open/close the top is grotesque and durability, resale value and handling are questionnable. I will probably go with the miata.

  • i hate the front and the interior but it is a fun to drive car

  • I think it would look pretty awesome in black, a little Tesla-ish...my favorite car =)

  • Love these cars, in fact i have one with powered hard top. It's a fantastic drive.

  • @nicknickk O RLY? Upload a video and prove it. I don't believe you. And don't use a potato to record your video, plus don't make it a one second video. I want to see the hard top in action You liar.

  • @barreltrollololol Well i do and i have had mine njow since october 2006. Now thinking of selling it to get a BMW Z4, and btw I do not need to prove anything to you.

  • @nicknickk Yea, I have a honda s2000 and a bmw z4 already and a 2011 automatic retractable hard miata also. Geez, you only have one convertible sports car. Big "L" on your forehead.

  • @barreltrollololol Well good for you, i guess you have a big W on your forehead for winnner. Good luck to you.

  • @nicknickk Thanks loser.

  • yea its a pretty feminine looking car, but they are damn fun to drive! ive beat on an older one around a track, and i admit i was impressed.

  • manly.....

  • and yet you saw it...
