  • hi pj its domenic here how are l was wondering if you can help me out lam 86kg but l still cant see any form of abs what so ever how low do l have to go to see any form of abs its driving me crazy abit l been training hard but still nothing l hope all is going well for you mate domenic

  • @domfrommelb27 Hi Domenic, it all depends on yr fat %age. Generally, for men, you need to be under 10% body fat to see some abs. Core exercises will strengthen and promote abs but removing fat by eating correctly and doing regular cardio is crucial. Stick at it. Cheers, PJ.

  • must have been a fun journey!

  • @zappafan136 Well, it was for the first 3 weeks in the beginning but then I realized I had another 49 weeks to go!

  • more sexy with belly

  • I'm glad that you were able to get back into shape and that your skin didn't get permanently stretched out from the fat.

  • @ThatOtherTom Even though I got back to my original weight in 6 months, it took a further 3 months for my skin to regain it's elasticity so I was definitely worried for a while but thankfully, as I have noticed with my clients, the longer you stick to it, the better the results. The key is to lose the weight steadily, not necessarily rapidly and never cut corners such as extreme dieting etc.

  • sad thing though bro, once you get the excess fat in the breast area, its hard to ever get it back into cut shape like you had it, its possible but ive heard it takes awhile.

  • @Killhiswaffles THis is definitely true. It did take a little longer but with willpower, anything is possible :-)

  • op patrioths :) ela re elladaraaaa

  • @DeejayNovus Always love my fellow Greeks! Thanks for spreading the word :-)

  • This is very inspirational! How many hours a day of exercise did it take to bounce back into shape?

  • @hiner76 I stuck to 5 weight sessions per week at 45 minutes each and 15-20 minutes cardio every day. It took me 6 months to lose 40kg (88lbs)

  • may the real preganant man please stand up

  • You looked much better when you were Fat & had a beard.

  • @jkbigfoot LOL...Thx!

  • YOU WERE HOTTER FAT. SORRZ.

  • It looks like there was an alien growing inside your gut there for the first half of the vid!

  • @RedCoke88 It definitely felt like there was something inside there!

  • HIs stomach looks weird when he got fat. he probably has visceral fat in between his organs, thats not healthy.

  • @Squisidee Thx for the comment. I went from 6% body fat up to 32% body fat in 4 months. It's amazing how easily a fit body can change & it highlights the importance of eating well & exercising regularly because if my body went like that so quickly, it can only be worse 4 someone who hasn't exercised for years. Thanks 4 discussing visceral fat. It's the unseen fat around the organs and the damage done to arteries that many people are unaware of and these symptoms regularly cause heart attacks :-(

  • @PJFATANDBACK 6%? o_0

I know if a female is lower than 10% she stops having a period. Is it safe for a male to be that low?

Yeah, visceral is horrible. I mention that to people who eat a lot of junk but say theyre okay because they don't look fat.

  • @Squisidee With women, anywhere around 15% is very fit. With men, 8% is very fit. Anything lower would be viewed as extreme. My priority is always to get my clients to a healthy weight range and good fitness level. Once a client reaches this level, it then becomes a personal choice as to how far they wish to go and each person has their own reasons. For me, I aim for around 6% when I'm doing a body shoot or modelling. For the rest of the time, I hang around 10% to allow my body to recuperate.

  • @PJFATANDBACK ah, okay

  • You are a true inspiration! Thanks for doing this!

  • @weeliano Thank you for the comment. My aim is to inspire people all around the world to live a healthier life so thanks for spreading the word. Much appreciated.

  • This is pretty amazing, P.J. I've been waiting for this documentary for months now. I can't believe nobody has scooped it up yet. What's the hold up?

  • @wusundowma Stay tuned...coming soon. Thank you for supporting the documentary!

  • I want to watch this documentary!

  • @JLai1969 Coming very soon :-) Thank you for the support!

  • he's back in shape again. but unlike before, he looks pale now..

  • You're my guiding light! I went through the same thing except it wasn't intentional and over a longer period... I wish I lived near to your gym so I could just live in there haha as I sure could use some help

  • how did u get so fat? i want to do this. i eat so much and i can't seem to gain any weight!

  • @sk8n0mad It took a lot of eating to get fat. I don't suggest you try and put on weight the same way I did as it is unhealthy and you won't have any quality muscle. Train with intensity, possibly add in a weight gainer shake twice a day and eat good quality carbs and protein regularly throughout the day to fuel the body and put on weight and size. Pasta, rice and sweet potato are all good options as is a varied protein source.

  • Did you lose a lot of muscle mass when you stopped training? That would have made it harder to get back into shape. Congratulations on your success. I look forward to the documentary.

  • @Chimpdaddy69 I lost a lot of muscle and went to 32% body fat in 3 months. Getting into shape was very difficult and challenging in so many ways. Thanks for the support and I look forward to sharing the documentary with you. Cheers. PJ

  • this is amazing ! i wonder why you dont have more subscribers. full support

  • @niclashbg Thanks! Much appreciated and thank you for spreading the word. PJ

  • Woah dude, 0:37 - 0:51 looks like your spine is getting ready to snap, having to live with that spine bent so far back to support your gut would have been agony!

  • @aussbum1 Yeah, not much fun at all! Back to normal now though :-)

  • @PJFATANDBACK Good to hear your spine's fixed itself, looks as though your belly dominated your posture towards the end of the first six months. Wouldn't be suprised if you ever bumped your gut into things or took to that sort of waddle pregnant women do!

  • Έλληνας είσαι ???

  • @petoysis Yes! Both parents from Greece! I'll be over in Greece in the New Year to help people with their fitness. More news soon. Thanks for the support!

  • @Yellokitti Thanks for that...really appreciate it! I'm glad that so many people are drawing inspiration from my videos and it gives me inspiration to help as many people around the world as possible :-)

  • @BlueVans94 putting it on was a challenge but the real learning and understanding came from keeping the weight on once I reached my goal...that's where all the emotions set in and habits form. A really difficult time!

  • how did your chest tighten up again? you practically had boobs

  • @popa356 Yeah, the boobs were always a concern. I just concentrated on eating well to reduce fat levels and then lifting weights to maximize muscle gain.

  • it takes balls of steel to do what u did... i respect a lot that.

  • @eljonasjoel2 Cheers! Thanks for the support, it's much appreciated.

  • I don't know anyone who's brave enough to do what you did. You're awesome without a doubt bro, can't wait to see the full documentary.

  • @1arkenton Thanks! Really appreciate the support. The documentary will shed a lot of light on obesity and I'm excited about sharing it with everyone.

  • Interesting with the back photo's, your shoulder blades started to show through when you lost the weight.

  • @itubeutude no muscle left...just fat, skin and bone I guess!

  • Your back looked huge. But power lifter huge.

I've never struggled with weight issues, but I can also say that I struggle with the motivation to strip away what little fat I have and work on building muscle.

  • @htial1 I understand this. The less you have to lose, the longer it takes because there is no real urgency. Yeah, I was surprised at my back as well!
