FUCK OFF YOUTUBE IT WAS MY THIRD COMMENT! Avoiding a % of spam by making honest users have to type in 5 captchas per 7 comments, if not more, is taking the fucking piss. Come on, if an auto-spammer got past ONE captcha why would the other ones stop them? Better to implement an IQ test on sign-up to avoid the asinine comments that are so rife on this site! Like this if you agree, please!

  • my first festival!

Really can't wait to see them again later this month, first time I'll have managed to catch them since....not for want of trying.

  • One of the only bands in my opinion that the torch was truly passed on to from ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy and Skynyrd. COC OWN.

  • i was there and dissapointed how early these guys were on, like they say possibly first but i was pretty hung over so don't remember if they were on before therapy?, they were good though and should have been higher up the list, like most bands that day who were more deserving of headlining than ShitallicA

  • Deliverance is by far their best album

  • @TinMan1326 america volume dealer is pratically at the same level

  • Reed Mullin is my favorite

  • what a funny grandpa xd

  • >you can't stay 17 and angry your whole life.

Really? I don't know, I am now 44 and I'm pretty pissed off!

  • only good album was animosity.

  • nice! corrosion! :D

  • that was the first outdoor gig i went to, i felt like shit from the campout/weedathon/cider binge the night before, but started again when c.o.c came out and ripped it up, great day except warrior soul should have been replaced by pantera

  • was there

    coc

    rules

    warrior soul pish

    MACHINE HEAD amazing ¬!!

WHITEZOMBIE, the only time I ever saw them live !!

    WOW

  • >you can't stay 17 and angry your whole life.

Really? I don't know, I am now 44 and I'm pretty pissed off!

  • @PatrickONB

    suicide solution PuffyONB

  • @PatrickONB I'm 33 and pretty pissed-off, too. Look around, idiots abound. Then the intelligent ones lord it over them and us, instead of making things better for all. Power, it's all about power, and it's a weak mind that falls in love with such a thing, NOT a strong one. 'Only when the power of love overcomes the love of power, will the world know peace' - Jimi Hendrix (RIP).

  • @PatrickONB your still not 17

  • @PatrickONB STAY PISSED MAN!! Keep rockin!! Rock on, rock out, and rock the fuck up. Only way to fly man. CoC were and still are one the best bands. Lovin Down too. Good to see these guys aint givin up on shit.

  • bless...classic Reed Mullin :)

  • I joined them on stage that day, to play "I'd rather see you dead" by the Anti Nowhere League... What a rush, playing with COC in front of 60,000+

  • I love teh COC!

  • fuckin awsome...i remember it well..what a day!

  • Corrosion of Conformity has only gotten better with each album. They have progressed as musicians and songwriters and are one of the true forerunners of the Sludge/Southern metal (not pedestrian at all, imho) with guitar lines that are unmatched. I feel bad for anyone who has been unable to grow with the bands sound, you can't stay 17 and angry your whole life.

  • @laughingboy0068 Gotta concur... Only gotten better. Pepper is 1 hell of a good frontman. The rhythms of the latter albums are catchy as hell and the leads are blistering and beautiful. Dam I miss 'em, hadn't seen them since the good old days when Dime was alive and concerts still got crazy.

  • @oneaware I generally respect 'em but when I heard one of their later songs rip off a Kyuss melody and rhythm then I thought they were a bit past it - that's too obvious to allow to make to the final record, man!

  • @Saighton Man, I really don't know much Kyuss, which track? Really one could argue that all our favorite music is a "rip-off", inspired by, modeled after, or sounds just like a Tony Iommi or Jimmy Page melody, and that very well may be true. It's debatable I suppose, but really it can still be good shit and sound like something else, as long as that "something else" aint radio-friendly mainstream carbon-copy rubbish- my opinion of course.

  • @Saighton cant expect all bands to listen to all other bands cd's before making music. sfw they have a close riff or 2. that doesnt mean they listened to kyuss as they wrote the song. come on man use your head. i bet if you made a record we could find plenty rip off riffs, & they wouldnt be done on purpose. just like the L7 song wargasm sounds like a Dark Lady song called speak the truth. doesnt mean it's a direct copy or rip off.

  • @MADRAVN420 Ok, but YOU think it through... Kyuss were and are a fucking prominent band, in 1995 they supported Metallica who personally know Pepper Keenan -all in all, are you saying that Pepper would have avoided listening to Kyuss? Unlikely, ESPECIALLY given his apparent taste in rock/metal (=Sabbath-y). Who the fuck are Dark Lady and why would L7 have listened to them? Kyuss are more famous than L7 by some significant degree these days. Add it all up, I'm right. Usually am... *shrugs*.

  • But you're right about the 'not on purpose' way that some artists and myself, sure, manage to copy riffs by accident - there's only so many chord progressions, scales and frets on a fretboard. Right, I'm off to tune up my cousin's Epiphone SG and thrash out some Down riffs, on purpose, haha!

  • do not interrupt the fucking song to show a fucking interview!

  • I see it this way. There was an amazingly unique crossover band in the 80's called CORROSION OF CONFORMITY. Their name perectly described their sound. Then these same people wanted to have a different sound so they aquired a new vocalist and started playing what initially was a "metal" sound that gradually morphed into very pedestrian "stoner rock" type sounds. They should have changed the name with the sound!!!

  • They're probably high as fuck haha. Pepper is the man

  • what was the song called in the beging?

  • @TheMills73

    Dance of the dead.

  • What channel was Noisey Mothers on? I don't remember this show.

  • Karl Agell vs Pepper....anyone?

  • Can you go wrong ether way?

  • pepper seems to be concentrating mostly on Down right now, i hope to see something new from coc soon.

  • God, what happened to CoC anyway? No offense to people that like them now. But they used to be totally different and full on hardcore.

  • they havent done the hardcore thing since the early 90's....And it was like one album. COC been southern metal for so long know im amazed anybody even remembers they were once associated with hardcore

  • @karatezombie Down happened...

  • I've been in a daze ever since. 30 now :)

  • I Saw them at Harpos a place that holds less than 3000 people. they fucking rocked that shit hole. Live volume dvd. I can't wait for new C.O.C.

  • Krusher... good memories. COC break teeth.

  • i was there it was fuckin brill , what day

  • Thanks for posting this vid. COC rocks.

Check out my favorite unsigned band ever on youtube. VSD- Confomity Sucks, Mental Breakdown, Life of Scum and 4 other metal/ crossover classics.

  • "you can call me crazzzzzyyyy" I've been to Donington 8 times since 1988 and Albatross in this day is still one of my most memorable Donington moments.

  • This brings back some good memories!

I went to the show which was a brilliant day and I remember having this episode on tape for ages!

  • I can't wait for them to start making music again. In The Arms Of God held me off for a while but now I am craving more

  • I was there too, COC opened and tore the place apart. Then Warrior Soul came on and killed it.

    Well my view anyway.

  • Yup, has there ever been a band on the Donington bill so badly placed as Warrior Soul? Never met anyone who's heard any of their songs or got any of their albums.

Then Machine came on and tore the place a new one...

  • I was there! Even at 11am CoC fucking ROCKED!!! Was an awesome day :)

  • COC rocks

does Anybody knows if there's a video of this whole concert ???

  • they were just out of the deliverance tour....watch some machine head . . .epic.good oldtimes!

  • Corrosion rule ,nuf said ...

  • who are this guys?

  • Find an album called "Deliverance," that will answer all your questions.

  • ure name sucks!

  • I was there. It was that or Reading, COC opening, White Zombie, Machine Head, Skid Row and so on, and yeah, Metallica, whatever. I was so drunk by the time they went on I didn't care..

  • 0:34 sounds like Kirk's roar

  • what the hell are u talking about

  • chadgarland.....on the roadwith almost any metal band, someone has to keep the other dudes in line so they dont get partyin before a show, and ya can tell by the way someone carries themselves, even in a pic, that they are the road captain you could say. the responsible one!!

  • nope

  • yup!

  • i guess the -3 on your comment means, NO.

  • Just found this. I was there, oh I feel old now. They rocked, next time I saw them was with Metallica at Earls Court in '96.

  • Reed Mullins take it easy!!!!No wonder you threw your back out....good shit though !!

  • You kidding. Vote With A Bullet was the beginning of good COC music. Sorry but i prefer their Stoner Metal to their Hardcore Thrash days

  • Blind, the disc with vote with a bullet was the disc that Karl sang on, Pepper did mainly just the verses on "vote". It was their first stoner disc. and their best cd. I agree. Mike can sing, he does some vox on deliverance. I wasn't speaking of pre- Blind material.

  • Your the biggest moron. Ha.

  • still cant beleive reed mullin quit

  • I heard Reed started having vision problems due to diabetes and bowed out-great drummer.

  • Bullseye! Donnington 95 was his last ever appearance (see therapy? vid)

  • Krushers Kosmos fucking rocked, what was his little dog called?

  • BRING BACK NOISY MOTHERS!!!!!!! :-( telly wasn't (and still isn't) worth watching when it was axed!

  • holy fuck,i was there, best gig ever,i was only 12,fuckin changed my life.god bless coc

  • sorry if this is a stupid question but was their a minimum age limit for entering? my brother was 13 actually

  • ther was no limit from what i can remember,i'll have to dig out my ticket and check,i was was with my dad so maybe it didnt matter about my age,i saw kids there way younger than me too.best day ever!!!!!

  • yeah i kept my ticket. just now i remembered it having a ride the lightning background on it and a warning that the noise may damage hearing hehehe

  • REED! Where'd you go man?

  • OMG OMG Noisy Mothers! The reason I got into metal, first time I saw it, first vid was enter sandman, second one machine head Old..that was it. I still have the donnington one on VHS somewhere...damn 3am shows.

  • Pepper is high as fuck in that interview! Right on, awesome upload. Would have killed to be at that Donington.

But was at D/L 06, Down, Metallica, Clutch, kickass.
