  • that fire alarm is so quiet. i wish they had those at my school

  • Why is it called a bell test if there is horns?

  • @jacktd3 That's just the standard term they use when they do these tests. It would be too much of a pain in the ass to label them for each type of system. Speaker alarm test, horn alarm test, bell test, etc. So they just came up with a universal term "Bell" to mean Fire alarm signal test.

  • Are they Peizo-electric

  • Guard "Well we have guns you know!" Twoplyboy "in 5 more minutes it's gonna go full blast." Guard Ok we're getting out of here!" lol

  • @Tabby266 smoke detector death chrip?

  • not that load, think they may have to be abit loader.

  • @cindy1000000 Learn how to spell

  • Sounds good but really annoying if it was in code 3 it would be better.

  • uh. if there was a fire in the building and someone didn't set it off in second stage, the building would be burned down then.

  • o my bad, i read the description now

  • is this a 2 stage system or something

  • To prevent evacuation in large buildings in case there isn't a real fire.

  • Very cool! U-MMTs are cool

  • Actually that is a U-MHT.

  • Yeah. His was differently pitched.

  • i liked that federal horn/strobe at the start.

  • What exactly are the key holes on the top corner of the pulls for since they're obviously not used to reset the station?

  • it's to make the panel go straight into 2nd stage. you need a GA key for that to work.

  • got it thanks

  • @twoplyboy What is a GA key?

  • its a siemens mini horn/strobe

  • @ilovepolice1 actually a U-MMT

  • @ilovepolice1 no its a u-mht

  • That sounds so cool in March Time.

  • So the first stage is a pre-alert, so you don't have to evacuate? I was in a hotel once, And the alarms went off twice. The panel was a HUGE mirtone voice evac. panel. When the alarms went off, It made a "beep"

sound. When the manager checked all the floors, they shut off the alarms. simple as that. no evacuation.

  • I dont think i understand, whats the point of a two-stage system and how does it work?

  • the point is kinda like a you have pre alert stage..that sound will go for as long as the panel is programed for. The second stage is the evac sound. This is done here automatically in 5 minutes time (because of the programing)or could be tuned on by a GA key at anytime.

  • So, when its in the first stage, does the panel UDACT dial? or does it wait until second stage? is the idea basically like a home security system that gives u a certain amount of time when you open a door to enter the code before it goes into panic?

  • I believe we call your UDACT a DVACS here in Canada. it does dial out to monitoring in the first stage.

  • Oh, thanks alot for your time! great vids keep em comin!

  • oh thats the horn/strobe i was asking about? cool

  • lol

  • siemens u-mmt

  • Nah that's a U-MHT. U-MMT's are low pitched.

  • ok thanx

  • No, it's a Siemens U-MHT.

  • good job

  • that is a weird code

  • it's 60 beat per minute for first stage...second stage is 120 beats per minute. 1:1 then 2:1
