Well no they did this tribute the same day that he died.

I actually found out about MJ as I was getting ready to go to the concert, so they did this tribute very quickly after the world found out about his death.

gARUNS in DEED. Michael went on painkiller's when the trials broke out. That's what got him addicted. And i agree with your broken heart theory, all he did was try and help better the world in his music, his career, and his personal life. But he's repayed with bullshit. That's what really broke him apart.
