That's just how I see it, a driver or a person could have been on the other side or near the trailer and the horn caught their attention to at least react according. You may never know, it could have saved someone's life. Again that's just my point of view.

Sure, you maybe have 10,000 tons and a lot of weight backing you up. But all kinds of bad things happen. Perhaps you hit a car and you shove it into the rail so hard it spreads the track. Suddenly you are 10,000 tons on the ground. Or you hit a dumptruck and drive it under you so you rise up just an inch and come off the rail. It can be scary.
