I'm one of those "hardcore" NFL fans, and even I didn't buy this game. I liked 2011's better than 2012. I played the demo for 2012, and even played it with one of my friends and noticed a BIG difference with the gameplay than 11. The feeling of the plays are A LOT different and it seems to be a bit harder. Too difficult for me.

I love the fanboys defending the Madden series even though this review has put what EA Games does every Madden, make tiny differences that don't matter. Madden games only get better content worth a new retail after they add about 5 years of content to actually be worth a new retail because they finally build up enough extras to enjoy the game and notice major changes. Madden isn't perfect. If they release them as DLC, and you have the last installment, it'd increase value. That's my opinion.

This game is at least an 8.5. I haven't played madden since 08 but i have played the NCAA Football game since 06. So i was actually excited to get Madden 12. I dunno DSP, I have not come across any of those problems at all, been playing since release aswell. Kind of a bullshit score, maybe your xbox is fucked up/internet. A 5 is really low, this game has amazing animation, amazing content, great music, great atmosphere and the list goes on.. A 5 is garbage man, maybe you should have checked to see if those were common problems becuase not too many people had those bugs.. Anyway, keep the reviews coming, i love em.

The game never locked up or froze for me in Superstar mode, but it did once when i was trying to pick a team on the play now mode. The reason that EA hasnt patched anything is probably because Phil is one of the very few if not only person that has this buggy copy of the game/

EA needs to get their shit together. I've never had any MAJOR problems that couldn't be fixed quickly or atleast within 24 hours, but my friends have all had problems with their games. Shit, when EA first created the synch your Xbox profile with your EA profile, there was no confirmation. I had to call EA and tell them that some asshole used my gamertag. Not only that, but when Godfather was first released, you could never connect to the server. They kind of suck. I love 2K most of the time tho.

It just sucks that he complained about PS Mag for bullshit reviews when he admits in this video that he didn't even bother exploring half of the game modes. Sure, you can dock it for having massive problems online, but you didn't even bother trying Franchise Mode offline because you misinterpreted what the mode actually was. Yet, you dock the game significantly for simulation problems when in reality, if you'd have actually played the full game, none of those would have happened.

EA servers are usually overloaded during the first week of a games release. I know it sucks, but it happens, and it's usually fixed, to an extent depending on the game and the amount of players and dedicated servers, after a week.
