I was watching How I Met Your Mother and I noted this song, and here I am now. Enjoying a good music. This is how you grow your culture. Doesn't matter how you get here, what counts is that you're here! I discovered Dostoieviski and Francis Bacon while I was reading Carl Sagan and I like then! I discovered Decemberists while I was at home, watching a comedy. No regrets!

My bf at the end of the teenage years but still in them, the university entry exams ,he wanted to be an architect (finally he's a historian), the fact that he built a magic world for me, that he protected me ..I was full of passion,full of thirst for the forthcoming life and I saw in his eyes his admiration for all my flame-personality and me his kindness of an innocence that hadn't been spoiled yet..Absolutely deep,crystal clear, true love...(Life goes on :))

Karl Marx was 7 years old then, so no, the original Decembrists were not communists regardless of what the Decemberists of Portland, OR like to do at their concerts. Also, the first word of every sentence should be capitalized, as should proper nouns. As well, "Their shows" not "there shows", "guess" and not "geuss".

Marx was 7 when the Decembrist revolt happened. The Communist Manifesto wasn't published for another 23 years. Russian communism didn't exist in 1825.

As a poet, I have fell in love in this song. I think when he speaks of his work being "unparalleled" he means that he put forth complete effort and achieved perfect work, but the structure still fell. In other words, while he tried to build a solid, perfect relationship to protect his lover, he still failed to maintain the structure.

The first decemberists song I heard was colin meloy singing the crane wife 1,2 and 3 live for KEXP. It made me cry in the middle of the library at college... Powerful vocals + deep lyrics = unimaginable levels of awesomeness

and i will always be able to play this and remember some difficult times,
