I have the G1XN EXT version which comes as standard with an expression pedal and drum machine.. this thing just kicks ass!!.. It has literally transformed my playing level AND frequency.. Since I bought the thing, not ONE day has passed without using it with my Strat. I play everyday now for around 2hours on average. LOVE IT!!!

@DUDI0215 not unless you hook up an audio splitter but thats easy just look for a 1/4 jack splitter and make sure you have a 1/4 to 1/8 converter

@DUDI0215 yes use the splitter to headphones or an amp, i have plugged the line out of my amp directly to the laptop so this shouldn't ruin the sound card, at most it could ruin the mic jack but if ur worried try measuring the power output of the jack

@DUDI0215 Well I'm not sure exactly what the problem would be then. What I do is just plug my guitar straight into my computer, no amp. To add effects I just do it custom in audacity. Hope this helps

@sandrowersonst du hast also die G1XN?? die hab ich auch... das problem ist bei mir der verstärker, die klingt leider sau schlecht.. kann deine G1XN auch einen sound mit richtig viel druck klingen?? also meiner nicht darum frage ich weil ich weis nicht ob das an meinem G1XN oder an meinem verstärker liegt...

@xbob23 the g1xn is better because it has a expression pedal and its like just worth 20 or 10 dollars higer than the reg 1. u should order it from Sweetwater thats where i got mine from it was on sale for 70$ Free shipping and a 2-year warranty (i dont knoif its still on sale or not) but neway a zoom pedal is rly worth the price but i say if u want sumthin better den g1 buy a zoom g2
