  • I watched my entire future rush past me from all perspectives in an enveloping stream. It was perfect.

  • Aphex understood general relativity before Einstein was born.

    Solid approach.

  • Hypnotic work. Really good !

  • Try and find something from 1992 other than other aphex work that sounds half as good as this, difficult?

  • @officialmashitup

Listen to Cylob, he's not as good but still great.

  • wooooowww fuuuuck!! °OOOOOOO°

  • aphex like vangelis - spiral

  • I don't know how to explain this song. It sort of initiates a feeling of ultimate power along with sereneity and calm. Besides that there are no words to descrie my feelings when i hear this song.

  • This is playing in the bar in Afraid Of The Monsters. It just reminds me of the fact that you're on the run from everything. To me, it summarizes the chase, even though you know you'll be caught, you try to escape anyway.

  • @ragonamuffin Dude, awesome idea. THIS IS AMAZING

  • is that real? 20 years later and it sound like... I dont have words for that ...

  • Amazing melody, yes... Something just fuckin perfect... Its normal to aphex twin.

  • I first heard this on easygroove's one step beyond set in 92..fff-king brilliance.

  • still sounds totally ace. genius. pure genius.

  • There's an Aphex Twin song for everything... this one just happens to summarize life in general.

  • oh my fu**ing god-JIZZ

  • Wow 1992. Talking about going ahead of the game.

  • Omg something like 5 second offset is so cool (for playing two of these at the same time)

  • 202

  • @808acid The legend.

  • God created the universe listening this.

  • I've been known to cover all the windows in my room, cover whatever other light is present, sit in pitch black darkness. But right before I do that,I put this song on a loop, put on my headphones, close my eyes and go on a trip!

  • oh god nostalgia to the umpteenth degree

  • this is tron before tron

  • Such an epic piece of music.

  • song reminds me of mass effect

  • -_- newgrounds...

  • I am now playing this simultaneously in two windows. with about a 50 second offset. It makes the song even crazier. Turn down the volume on one of them a bit. Try it with a short offset if you can't handle the long one.

  • @ragonamuffin

    genius...thank you...

  • Did it. It sounded pretty cool. Thanks for thinking of that.

  • @ragonamuffin That is AMAZING!

  • excellent music, im glad its not that well known so it doesnt get faggoted up by retarded "covers" (or in other words: plagiarism)

  • This is just just a fine piece of electronic music pure and simple.

  • Sex Kitten Sim Date 3 brought me here.

  • @OtakuEpsilonStation Nothing about you has the right to this.

  • @TheClarenceter um ok?

  • @OtakuEpsilonStation the author of that shit game should be lynched

  • @TheClarenceter I only liked it for the music. . . .

  • @OtakuEpsilonStation Too late for the author, that author is about to die.

  • @TheClarenceter True that

  • @OtakuEpsilonStation Sex Kitten Sim Date 3 is about to get sued.

  • Like if you're listening to this in 2180!

  • Nevermind all that I had heard were the "classics" album. Forget I said anything.

  • I take that back there are a few more that are ok, but this is by far the greatest.

  • This one is just amazing and Schottkey is good too, but the rest of what I have heard from Aphex is just awful, im sorry, is there anything else like this?

  • 1992? wow. it's an *amazing* sound.

  • Over 18 years since I heard this for the first time and it still doesn't stop amazing me!

  • @motion474 Being a "beatmaker" or musician does not mean that you can produce good music.

  • Comment removed

  • @motion474 Everyone knows that people with vaginas have no right to listen to this, or attend the same activities as those with penises, I have a penis, and I'm fit to use it.

  • @TheClarenceter A freak sized clitoris does not a penis make. Again, calm that va jay jay of your's there skipper.

  • @motion474 Why do you use these personal experiences and human possessions to spice up your replies? We all know why you're either an eunuch or a woman to even think about genitalia on a daily basis makes you more inferior to my physics or set of mind, no; really, zoophilia and necrophilia is nothing wrong in my mind, it's just the bludgeoned trash that needs to stop mumbling. Crush your cranium and off we go!

  • @motion474 I'll rub it for you, you with the deformed and castrated genitalia brough in such a complexion of these acts that you and all one another may call it an orifice instead of a tube. Come on now, we all know you want attention circuiting your own deformed orifice.

  • @motion474 Looks like this; one who cannot read or understand a most simple statement formed from facts is a transgendered lesbian or bisexual little lifeform, just like motion474; living in such a humongous denial to life or what it may affect her, the useless lifeform motion474 has such a deformed little genitalia that one cannot decide wether it's female or male or both at the same time, OR just something resembling one gender at a time or BOTH at the same time.

  • @motion474 You come from Canada, a version of the US, both being tryhard wannabe-countries that are absolutely inferior to the title, both countries are cesspools of "Americanisation", this includes the useless and classless people that constantly take everything out of Europe, including culture for the most part; the teenagers from there (yes, only Americans can be teenagers), constantly taint and prod on European, Asian or African or even Australian music, culture, food, mindsets and personas.

  • @motion474 Only someone as tainted by Americanisation or one who has their origins from the stinking shithole themselves would be so useless and retarded to associate a song like this with porn, do the vibes and tunes in this song easily help you to start thinking about pornography? Is it just because pornography is a sub-type of sexual high for the people? Aren't there ANY other "euphorias" you might attend to much rateher than simple porno? Hahahaha, just commit suicide you eunuch.

  • @TheClarenceter Your grammar is atrocious dude, get that g.e.d..

  • @TheClarenceter guzzles pastor sperm.

  • @motion474 You're wrong. There isn't a pastor even as close as 200 kilometres from me. I would like to tell you that a pastor might be around the corner of your own little house.

  • @motion474 That's why 95% of musicians suck arse, how many artists do you see that are exactly like Aphex Twin and still original? How many others are exactly like any original and talented musician?

  • I listened to it while i was in a Cd store. 5 minutes after i left, i came back to the shop and asked "Wtf was this tune some minutes ago?" and bought the Cd.^^

  • richard never does wrong. this also reminds me of mass effect.

  • The sound of life.

  • such a beautiful piece of music

  • I though Aphex used computers alot but also alot of hardware analogs like in this tune. WHICH IS FUCKNIG WIKKID!

  • Many people fumble with computers and music software these days. I am so glad that Aphex Twin is still out there! A REAL artist...

  • @Mike07502 cause aphex twin doesn't use computers and music software...yeah...nope

  • @MrWimz I think what hes trying to say is that he most likely doesnt use programs like FruityLoops to create his music, and probably uses synths like a Moog and things of that nature

  • excellente production, gros son et superbe mélodie.

  • Cosa può portare un Producer a produrre simili capolavori?

    Quali stati d'animo?

    The.Perfect.Track.

  • IDM but not IDM

  • LOL at the people trying to categorize this track as 'drum and bass and ambient' go learn something about electronic music before lamely attempting to hang labels on tracks. Yes there are drums, even breaks, yes there are ambient synths, but it is neither genre.

  • @octagon79 its just a bunchh babbble dabble

  • this siounds like it would work great in tron, even though daft punk did it

  • 666 ppl like it

  • @dennisvanh82 goose bumps, not chicken pocks lol

  • this is fuckin great

  • splittin hairs.. it's not d&b at all.

    Sounds more like hardcore/rave.

  • loving the twin, and rember this from back in the day when xylem tube was in the shops!

one particular time, this on the stereo (cassette 'cause that's all we had), and us all nodding heads like that is what it was and that was i,t and it was it, and that was what it was what it was.................well..............guess you had to be there :D

Check out "VicAcid" by Squarepusher and Aphex twin.

  • @kinglynx No there is NOT. He made no songs anything like Come to Daddy (Pappy Mix).

  • exxxxxtttaasssyyy

  • 8 people can't comprehend Polynomial C.

  • Wonderful, wonderful techno from back in my day - simply superb and it makes the hairs on my neck stand up all over again...............

  • @MrDORSETBOY shut the fuck up techno my ass

  • @BekBud1 Oh dear me, you are a real charmer eh ? If you don't understand what this tune represents then fine.

  • @MrDORSETBOY shutup and smoke some london skunk, bullocks.

  • It's electronic music, and I use a term so broad because it's difficult to label a masterpiece like this. It's basically like saying a Faberge Egg is just an ornament. Sure, it is, but it's far more than that.

  • wow

  • well, #DSK me sideways -- this is a class tune and a half from that twin of Aphex

  • This is the track I would show Szopen.

    Masterpiece.

  • this music really makes me feel like i'm a genius

  • @Conqlusion19 Holy shit yes. I don't feel alone anymore! When I first heard this it felt like I was watching my entire future play before me.

  • @alewis18 lol that sounds bonkers.

  • @Conqlusion19 glad I'm not the only one. we must be schizophrenic or something.

  • DATARPEGGIO

  • Loading music for Al Basrah in Project Reality. R.I.P (Ver 0.1-0.7).

  • Didn't know Aphex Twin did R&B music !

  • @IUsedToBeAPygmy

That doesn't even warrant a proper response.

  • @IUsedToBeAPygmy oh lawdy please go kill yourself right now

  • @IUsedToBeAPygmy lol, 6/10

  • I am nearing 40 yrs on this rock, this bloke is The One.

  • this song inspires me

  • browsing porn while listening to this

  • @igotthatsnowmayn bahahahaaha cracked me up

  • made in 1992 holy shit!! Talk about being ahead of the game..

  • @Blackandplaid Thats not even that suprising, i mean we had good electro music in the early 70s, but what i find interesting is that James was not even 21 when he wrote this song!!!

  • Wow! 20yrs old..still polished..

  • cant believe this is nearly 20 years old. so fresh

  • This sounds A LOT like Philip Glass

  • perfect.

  • @Seni187 right

  • Love it, intro is a little bit infected mushroom style.

Love beautifull music from a ugly guy!

  • @negativrollo

Infected Mushroom came looong after this record was made, so I'm not sure that's an appropriate way to put it. Also, ugly? Is it really necessary to describe him like this?

  • @Xantion shut up hippy it was aa positive reaction to the music relax

  • sublime

  • they will play this in the lift on the way up to heaven! and come to daddy on the way down!

  • @pubicteeth Ha ha, great comment!

  • You can mix this song kick awesomely with Shadowplay by Joy Division.

  • this music makes the shit glide through my anus.

  • this isn't techno!

  • This would go well with Tron Legacy.

  • @Edge2437 yeah, absolutely

  • Bunch of assholes. stop categorizing and start producing.

  • @Danger1800 blah, blah, blah

  • DIDN'T WANT 2 GET INTO THIS WITH YOU APHEX OBSESSIVES! BUT...HE DOES BREAKS(PAC-MAN)TECHNO(R&S)ACID(UNIVERSAL INDICATER) NEED I GO ON...! HE JUST DOES GOOD MUSIC END OF!

  • BEAUTIFUL TUNE! A CLASSIC AND THE BEST ON XYLEM TUBE!!!

  • this is good stuff

  • this would be orgasmic in an extreme Space Mountain ride.

  • Ok, i get it. You like fuckin mozart... Id like to hear that composition by 5 year old mozart. Id say it was shite but in fairness he was 5 so ill let it go. Alot of bullshit builds up over two hundred years. For all you know Mozarts composer father pushed him from an early age. Today alot of kids of five can play piano purely because they have access to a piano, it doesnt mean they're geniuses.

  • Yes

  • J.S Bach's music, namely his fugues are more analogous to Aphex Twin (Richard James) than Mozart for piling on multiple melodies. There are no contemporaries for Mozart ...yet.

  • @sockpuppetmartinez class comment made me laugh so hard

  • @sockpuppetmartinez Look around on youtube for newer aphex live sets, there's definitely some new music on the French one I saw.

  • where aphex, Where are you leading us??? where is the place your music comes from, no, the music defines it's origin.

  • this song is god!!!

  • i got his autograph in Belfast!!
