"The music is called Jungle" ha ha ha the commentator is fucking funny man "Dj Brockieis on his way to the station" sounds like the magic roundabout! Kool fm was brilliant as was dream, scandal, don the list goes on!
haha 'it would be equally illegal for us to indicate the pirate frequencies' .. 5 seconds later at 4:35 up pops the kool fm fm frequency haha!! gotta big up the bbc on that one.
junglist! the tapes kool play are excellent. a chance for youngers an old ravers to hear actual recordings of golden era sets. nuff mans getting chance to record them again. they will go live when ready. " were going right back to barcelona.". their adverts are raw like pirate ads always have been, authentic and familiar, proper nice. makes true ravers wanna go to the events. Keep doing what your doing Kool, yer big. ardcoreee!
yeah they were good back in the day but now kool is shit just plays archives and really amateur annoying adverts, ive switched to origin during the day in london least its liveo
Cha! Once again the Media calling or referring Jungle to 'Rap', please. Jungle/Drum & Bass is on another level to Hip Hop/Rap has always has been for years now.
Big ALL the Junglist from Past to Present. Blapp!!!
It doesn't interfere with Airport frequencies. That's total bullshit. Why would they transmit on a station that can't be picked up with a standard AM/FM radio? It's just propaganda - an excuse to crack down on the common man who can't afford the massive fees required to pay for radio bandwidth but wants to get their art and message out there.
big up kool fm.repec 2 brockie n all the crew.tund in whenevr ravd in london bk in 94.luvd it when peeps rang in from parks on sunny dy,gave a whole feelin of jungle community.kool fm pavd the way for dnb as it worldwide 2day
bbc radio need 2 remembr they startd off a pirate 2!
Wicked video like girlshmirl said we would not have had jungle if it was not for the pirates keep up the good work and big up all the djs and mcs still doing the do on the fm dial respect to the kool familly from the mad fishermen crew
I do a radio show on a pirate station here in Austin, its ashame that people don't appreciate it. The FCC wants to keep good music outta your heads. Pirate DJs bring you what you want.
if it wasn't for pirate radio stations in the early 90s we wouldn't have had jungle or any kind of english music scene
it probably helped bring a lot of foreign youth to britain who would have otherwise thought it was a country stuck up it's own a**s like it's upper classes... KISS FM, if anything, should be a warning to any pirate station who's thinking of going legal - it's absolute shite now ...
I remember when they did their test transmissions in 1990..Music was much better from them then, also at that time there was no other radio stations playing urban music. Kool FM Dream FM LWR Solar Time for life!
