Haha CMON CPRailConductor, I LOVE that detector!! Idk why, but there's just something about the digital-voice ones that I love. I was SO PISSED when they changed the one at Lilly to a GAY voice, the one here sounded so much better.
u r right there's a difference in the dd's from the one in lily and the one here the one here has a total axle counting and u can here a noise in the background that the one in lily doesn't
On a side note, I've always wondered why NS continues to use the old PRR signal-types on the Pittsburgh line, and the newer types on the Harrisburg line...do you have any idea why??
I don't know, but just as long as the PRR signals stay around as long as possible! There is comething different with the signal programs, I'm not sure what it is, and I don't know all those acronyms...
The Harrisburg Line used to not be CTC, so when they installed it, they replaced the signals. The Pittsburgh Line was CTC when NS acquired it, so NS didn't have a need to replace signals. BTW, the reason that the lead power can be so boring on the Pittsburgh Line is because each has to have cab signals.
