In Firewarrior... the Marines that you fight on the Spaceship (was it Tau or Imperial? i forgot) they are actually from the Raptors chapter... correct me if im wrong but i i do beleive i am right :p

they are in a dark green colour scheme yes, but if you look at the symbols on the shoulder pads you will find it isnt a DA symbol :p

Oh and i am aware that you temporarily ally with the Ultramarines on Firewarrior too, so there are 2 Chapters on that game :)

Ultramarines have a bad stigma mainly because they are the generic SM chapter in TT, almost every GamesWorkshop store has at least a 1500point army of them hidden away under one of their locked game tables ready to unleash on un- I mean completely suspecting gamers who are willing to assist new-recruits to the hobbies. But the truth is, they are the largest and the least corruptible chapter in the Imperium and cover the largest area, it would be uncannon not to have them constantly show up.

This is as far as I know the 2nd video game to even feature Ultra marines in the main campaign.

Space hulk: Dark angels:

Space hulk 2: Blood angels

Final liberation: Ultra marines

Rites of war: Blood angels (?)

Dawn of war 1: Blood ravens

Dawn of war 2: Blood ravens.

Fire warrior: Salamanders (if my memory serves)

So 1 minor role for UM in Final liberation, 1 major in this.

And only really common on the fronts of the boxes, not actually on the tabletop.

I'm not just speaking of the games they've been in. I really didn't care either way for them until the codex came out. That was a slap in the face to all the other chapter players, IMO.

Also, they had a minor role in winter assault. The blood ravens could take a break too. Let some space wolves or a lesser known secondary chapter have at it.

Ultramarine is namely a color, the Ultramarines got their name from the color(seems logical don't it?) and if not The Emperor named them Ultramarines for unknown reasons, I'm an Ultramarine player myself.

I think that this game is just what the psp and ds needed. I think that it may have some resembelance to DoW but should be better in many aspects. I am also thinking of the possiblites Games Workshop would have with the new "portability" aspect to the gaming. They could have days where you went into your local games workshop and played against people either in the room or online. I think it may bring in new gamers into Games Wrokshop. SOO wanna get this game lol.
