World War 3 has also begun with a minor skirmish; the firing of rockets by N. Korea at S. Korea on November 23rd. The earthquake in Japan is one more "birth pang" of these end times.

@RudeAwakning The Olivet Discourse in Mark and Luke is not the same as in Matthew. Luke was writing about the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman General Titus in 70 AD. World War 3 has already begun. The final war, Armageddon, does not occur until fall of 2017. The Abomination of Desolation begins on Palm Sunday (April 13) 2014, but it does start any war. Daniel says the temple will not be cleansed until 2300 evenings and mornings later.

That's why Jesus referred to Daniel, and ONLY Daniel, when He was telling His disciples about the End Times. Why the dual prophecy? Because the accuracy of Daniel's near time prophecies prove that the End Times fulfillment of his prophecies will also prove to be accurate. For example, the "leopard" in Daniel 7 is Alexander the Great and Greece, but ALSO Obama and America!

3rd Eagle, it is still true that 'a prophet is not respected in his home town.' Apparently that area has expanded a bit. I personally do not (yet) know enough about you to say whether you meet the criteria for a true prophet, however, I do firmly say that if your purpose is to call us to stop being such fools, to wake up, and to start taking life, living and interacting with others more seriously, then you should definitely be listened to, for life is precious, short and more so every day.
