  • Are you still running this system? I also have a 98 dodge durango with a 5.2 and im wondering if this is worth the time. Thanks

  • for those of you complaining no were on here do i see him boasting about it being a green car hes just showing us that it is possible to hho boost a dodge durango which i myself might do with my durango, adding alcohol is only needed so that it doesnt freeze during the winter in summer you take the alcohol out and go back to plain old water, this is just so that it gets better mpg. ps. Durango FTW!

  • how have you solved the oxygen sensor problem?

  • o2 bung extensions. Bring your o2 sensor to the parts store and find some nuts with the same threads. weld them on and your sensors will be slightly out of direct exhaust flow.

  • alcohol,ethanol,methanol mix???

  • actually if this was such a great and brilliant idea than how come its not been patented and advertised all over??

20 years ago cars didnt get 20mpg,

today cars juussst barely make it past 25 give or take a few...im not posting on the negative side but ive tried this and mine exploded like a dbl barrel shotgun under my hood one day as i went to start my car during last summer.

  • no not enough said ,albert enstien, alcohol is a form of gasoline you dip shit !!!! if you didnt need it you would run your shit on water ,duhhhh !! making alcohol in a hydrogen car is the dumbest thing i've ever heard of on this dumb shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your an idiot ......... lets see what your alcohol excuse is cuz im sure we all need to hear that a car that makes alcohol and runs on hydrogen is the way of a fucking genious of our century!!!!!!!!

  • what? You'd add alchohol to the electrolyte in the winter to keep it from freezing. I dont know what you mean about making alchohol in a vehicle. not only will the lyte keep from freezing the small amount of alcohol vapor is fine in an Internal combustion engine. perhaps some thinking before posting would do you good. aside from the foul language i had trouble making sense of your post.

  • Is there any information you can provide on how to do this?

I've got a 2001 durango with a 5.9 and I could use some extra mileage.

  • Scam.

I'll believe this until someone posts a video explaining what every little part is...and shows it running. If this wasnt a scam, how come ford, chevy, and especially mopar (on life support) havent adapted this technology? Some thing is wrong here.

  • Your so right... Auto manu's and big oil's always try to minimize their profits. Their main concern is devoloping new technology to make vehicles less maintanence and ween them off of the oil that we need (and will tolerate paying $4/gallon). Putting themselves out of bussiness is a goal of theirs. Moron. Try it dont bash something because you havent done it in person. and what is a scam? i have not sold anything, i give free info to anyone and have made some friends along the way.

  • i have 1 question for you , TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR WATER CONTRAPTION WHEN THE WEATHER DROPS TO BELOW FREEZING , ITS CALLED WINTER . TRY 40 BELOW WHEN WE RUN ON GAS THAT THE OIL COMPANIES FORCE US TO BUY SO WE CAN DRIVE IN WINTER.CANT DO THAT WITH WATER CAN YOU ,AND WHAT POWER SOURCE ARE YOU GONNA USE TO KEEP IT FROM FREEZING WHEN YOUR PARKED DOWNTOWN FOR 4 HOURS NOT PLUGGED IN . TELL ME AND THE REST OF US THAT !

  • alchohol. enough said?

  • There is a wiring harness that must be made that after operation another line becomes hot (12v) to operate a warming device like in a Big Rig to keep the oil from becoming to thick. Small amps (watts) used to do this. Try wiring products inc. I think.. I may have to look that up.

  • they haven't cuz they don't need to. they'll make just as much money. what do they care if we get better mileage

  • actually i was watchin this thing called the green millionaire this morning and they where talking about how major car comanies make money of gas or somethin like that, a guy figured this out some years back and the comapny he worked for fired him and supressed all the info because they dont want people saving money on this...i heard you get roughly 20% better gas miles...fucked up huh? how companies would do that for business?

  • Ok can list all parts you had to buy on here?

  • I figured the "Bolts" was originally a typo. That wasn't the point. The point is that you are cut-and-pasting the same comment on multiple videos instead of coming up with an original comment for each one. The typo got propagated to multiple posts because you are just pasting your boilerplate in the comment box. That comes close to being SPAM instead of a valid comment.

  • Sorry for the typo...repetetively.

  • I don't believe it! A typo from tech2rescue.

    Imagine that?

How one spells or misspells is really not the issue.

The issue is whether or not HHO could be produced in sufficient quantity to "boost" the output of an ICE with less than 1HP input power.

To date, I have only seen pretty bubbles.

  • To you and to all HHO generator enthusiast/sellers:

How many Amps/Watts does your in car generator use?

My guess, 2 Amps at 14 Bolts or 28 Watts.

Remember 746 Watts is needed to produce 1HP (ONE HORSEPOWER).

Does the HHO output produce more Watts when burned in the engine than the Watts consumed in your HHO generator?

If the answer is yes, congratulations! You have just invented perpetual motion!

  • Boyntonstu, you are really making an ass of yourself. You are repetively going through videos on this subject and posting this same message again and again. All the while you miss out on the concept that this process only adds a little hydrogen to the fuel/air mixture, which for a number of reasons, results in greater combustion efficiency. The result is higher MPG. Oh and by the way, every time you post this message, you misspell "volts." It is NOT "bolts." A bolt is a fastener.

  • I've encountered this Boyntonstu fellow elsewhere and with him the pattern is the same. He's not interested in looking at success stories, or saving money on fuel bills or any of that stuff.

He's only interested in posting the one and only sentence he has ever been able to construct (regardless of whether it's volts or bolts)...

    Boyntonstu is a twat!

  • Strapped9 - do you have a site where you explain out some of your mods? I am thinking of making the same additions to my Durango. I assume you had to advance the timing? What kind of milage change did you see? Also, how did you deal with the o2 sensor increasing the fuel mixture? Sorry for all the questions.. but I like what your doing here!

  • Use Smack's website its all free and he sell his kits and has 1000's of backers if you ahve questions . the kits are like 200$ but the output is 1.7 lpm you get 30-40% increase. Or you can build 1 for free with his PDF.

  • Looks good. Waiting to see more about your Durango. Looking to do mods to my also. What is going on with yours since you have done it?

  • I think this is BS. All you are doing is rusting out your engine by sending moisture to vital internal parts.

  • do you know how much water a stock motor runs through it? moisture is everywhere. You've got more in the gas tank and air than in the hho box. you worry about your puke yellow 86 escort. ill deal with my Durango.

  • nice vid but I could forgo with the rap music and rather listen to you explain your set up. Looks pretty good!!!

  • Yea, sure wish i had audio on my digi cam.

  • do you have the 5.9 0r the 5.2? i was thinking of getting the hafc for my 01 durango, but i'm not sure about how much maintenance is required.

  • 5.2. I have a 360 to put in place of this 318 but i cant figure out if i'll need to drop in new electronics with it. as far as i can tell you just need to drain the trap, and fill the cell. gl

  • maybe you have a burnt valve in cylinder 5?

  • can u buy a kit for this ?

  • sure can. google picc or hafc. i'm a diy kind of guy but the hafc kit is a bolt on and may be up your ally.

  • i just started building my cell, and im wondering after i complete it what modifications and connections should i make for my car? thanks

  • hey i really need help with my hho setup i was wondering if u could help... i have my gen. directly connected to the battery of my car (98 corrolla) it draws about 26 amps and produces about 2l per minute.... however i dont see a change in mpg... i have a small car it gets about 33 highway... i thought add a gen to the little car would really boost economy but nothing has happened.. is it possibly because the alternator is working hard cuz of the amp output please any help would be greatful???

  • that should have something to do with it. The bigger thing is the various sensors you find all over these cars. 02,intake, etc.. but the draw on the alt is a big hit. easy way to be sure is disconnect it from your car battery and hook it into a charged battery if theres room under the hood. if not run lines into the cab.

  • wait so how did you get the durango to have more miles per gallon.. does intake help it.

  • You might have a nice setup here, but Im not sure because you did not explain what you were showing. Please narrate your video and lose the cheesy music.

  • No Problem bud. Shoot me some money for an audio capable camcorder. I've sunk all my cash into various hho materials. Thanks in advance for the kind donation i'll never get. And I appreciate your approval.

  • Ha Ha! "kind donation I'll never get"! Bud, lets clarify something...Im not responsible for financing your science projects! Again, It does look like you have done a decent job on your set up, but without narration this video does not do it justice...more info would inform viewers and help them appreciate your hard work and efforts, and encourage the exchange of information to help you get even better results.

  • I haven't done anything with a joe cell so i'm not sure how they work. The gas that this produces is like nothing else. Its a great supplement to the engine. A 100% hho engine will need to be designed different. Saved me some cash but ran into a few problems along the way. Waiting for the snow to melt before i mess with it.

  • EFI will think that there is more oxygen available and increase the fuel accordingly.

That is why the miss fire at idle and not under load or at speed.

With that said your motor is running rich.

Also have to adjust timing if you make a lot of HHO.

The computer in the car is set for very specific parameters unless you can control the parameters waste of time.

Buy a VW with a carburetor that's what i did.

Directly into carb with a vacuum advance .

    gasoline sucks!!!!

  • Have you got your rig back on line?. I look forward to some mileage data. Zerofossilfuel did an interesting video about vacuum draw on his unit, it confirmed what I thought about the vacuum being drawn at highway speeds and city driving. It also might explain the difference in gas mileage between the two. I can see this in my bubbler when the engine is running.

  • What were you holding at the :26 mark? Also, get you an air tube to get your filter away from hot air in the engine bay.

  • It's an 80 amp relay. everyone trying this should use a relay. safety and battery life in mind. The way the air flows through the front into the engine compartment pulls the heat down and under the truck. Or else i'd have tubed it long ago. thanks.

  • My O'reilly auto parts store can plug your truck into a hand held computer and tell you what might be causing your check engine light to be signaling. Its crazy how accurate the they are with the reading. It told me temperature levels and vacuum leaks to miss fires. Good luck, you can't kill a 318!

  • Yeah, infact i just bought my own. shows a cylinder 5 misfire detected, and high voltage on both oxy sensors. This gauge is one of the best out. shows ignition advance, MAP, temps, freeze frame, the works. cyl 5 has great compression and great spark. new injector so my guess is its an unrelated computer problem. Maybe its not signalling the injector to open at times.

  • Do you have a line going to your intake manifold?. In my dodge dakota I run a line from my bubbler into a tee one going where you have one of your lines and the other to the intake with a control valve in between to control the vacuum from the engine. This draws the gas and not the electroltye out of my generator.

  • That is a great idea. I will give it a try. My 318 is running rough now though. I dropped a cylinder somehow. changed the plug, wire, injector, cap/rotor, and no luck. also have a check engine light on. it only misses at idle, but i've been afraid to click my rig on since.

  • Also, could you please connect a bubbler and show us the actual H2/O2 production rate at 15/30 amps...amazing...

    regards

    Øystein

  • If you look closely, you can see the gen is on and bubbling. This is after its run a while in the driveway so its around 110F which runs about 20-25 amps. Cold it draws about 15 amp. and at around 140F it draws closer to 30amp. I have an 80 amp relay installed, But more importantly a 40 amp inline fuse. Haven't popped it yet so even at max temp it hasn't gone near the 40 amp mark.

  • OK, but would it be possible for you to measure the gas production rate? I would like to calculate the efficiency of your cell....

    regards

    Øystein

  • I sure could. Point me towards a good method of measuring output. As it is, parellel, way over plated, 1/8" spaced, highly innefficient. I'd love to see what ravi's design would offer me. my goal was double mpg. far from it now due to efficiency issues. also looking for a good efie.

  • seems my comment didn't get through. What about using the setup proposed by 'sidyoung' named "improved HHO meter".

  • I think i remember seeing his demo. I will get one built asap.

  • So in European standards:

    City: reduced consumption from 2,05 L/10km to 1,55 L/10km

    Highway: Reduced consumption from 1,54 L/10km to 1,07 L/10km

Which is 24% and 30% reduction. Totally incredible. Almost non believable....Did you do any other modifications simultaneously? Like adjusting ignition point...

    regards

    Øystein

  • No other mods within 6 months other than a couple oil changes. I found it hard to believe myself. Thats why i waited to post it. I was afraid it was coincidence.

  • Encouraging words! Excellent work!

Thanks for the video and info on results..

  • Hey, I appreciate the comment bud. Must say you have some interesting vids yourself. lets keep at it.
