I always use the basic bait fish color of the black or dark green back and the silver sides, this pattern is very reliable everywhere for anything. I also use this color pattern in top waters with much success on the west coast. The mirrodine is tried and true in your area as well. If you want more area specific info. Check out a guy on you tube named cooknfish, he does a series called cooknfish chronicles.
Hey!! Pretty awesome video. I live in Williston area and was doing good up until January. The bite has really slowed down. I have tried so many different baits (jigs, gulps, mirrolures, plugs, live, cut bait.) and have been striking out. I usually fish Wacassassa/Yankeetown/Crystal River area.
This winter has been brutal. I just fished yesterday and laid a DOA shrimp right in front of a tailing red and he did not even sniff it. The fishing should light up big time once the water temp comes up some which should happen very soon. They should be hungry because they sure have not ate all winter from what I see when I fish.
Oh yes, The dine works great up here as well. I now live in Jax and fish St Augustine/Crescent beach area often. There are a few vids using the dine in these areas as well.
That was the original size. I have the XL but have not used it much yet. The smaller dine convinces picky fish to bite and works great in the winter when fish dont like to eat the big baits as much.

What colors do you believe are the best? I live on the west coast of Florida near Tampa Bay.
