George often used to write his songs at the harmonium...this is one of them. In 1982 he recorded the version in his LP "Gone Troppo". Metaphisic song!
Gotta say, I prefer this version. I don't really go for all the cheesy synth fills on Gone Troppo. With the droning keyboard (something he was into at the time), it really gives off a feeling that you're drifting.
I'm a fan of the Esher Demos (aka The Kinfauns Recordings)in general. After all, that's where we got Paul's duet w/ George on Junk. Not to say the McCartney 1 version isn't good, but it isn't the Kinfauns recording.

Whoa..no offense, and I wasn't talking about the real life pic. And the other ones are made well, couldn't make anything nearly as good as that myself, but I just they fitted well with the song. I should have said "I like the pics, but they don't go with the song." So thanks, sorry and keep these vids coming.
I kind of dig this song, but I can see why it was rejected.

i have to say i tend to prefer this version too. you can feel the white album atmosphere in this demo. the vibe reminds me a bit of long, long, long.
poor george, so many of his songs got rejected by lennon/mc cartney ...
