I saw this last night at the Mesa Community College International Film Festival and it was superb. In the Q&A with director Hirokazu Kore-eda he explained just how personal this film was with 50% of the mothers dialogue coming from his own monther.
Great film. Seen it at a film festival. Love the score; the natural flows of comedy; the slow-pacing which gives us a gap to think about the characters; the subtle direction, nothing fancy like Koreeda's previous films; and a nice bittersweet ending to wrap up an overall good hearted film that rightfully portraits what family is. It sure reminded me of my childhood in the hot days of summer. Koreeda really is Yasujiro Ozu of our generation.
La música es maravillosa, ¿alguien sabe como conseguir las partituras? lo agradeceria e incluso puedo aportar otras para intercambiar, gracias
