bobgatewood: at 1:25 seconds i believe they do a "punch in" .. this is a 2nd take recorded over that one spot.. it sounds different because they probably didnt realize that it needed to be fixed till "later" .. so when they went to fix it later.. they probably had different mics in different places and thus the sound is different.. most likely the same guitar... just a different recording environment.. thus the punch is quite noticeable.. it doesnt take away from the message though..
