the reason why it does that its because theres a spiner inside that spins the disc and the disc does'nt go into it properly so when you move it it falls out of place and then it scratches so it is a console falt!!!!

@poop125886 - If the DVD disc fell out inside then the scratch would not be a perfect circle centered around the middle of the disc, it would be off center. The disk scratches because any DVD disk spinning faster than 8x is likely to touch the read head inside if the drive is rotated, hence causing a scratch. That's why even though there are 25x DVD drives, even the best laptops with DVD drives limit the speed to 8x only. Any faster and DVDs can scratch (the 360's DVD drive is 12x).
