I agree with what he/she said below me- wish I could have been there- have a lot of relativesin Norway! loved seeing him in a small concert in Cayucos,CA where he liked to surf.
he was the best of the best. changed my life. will miss him and the music. remember and I quote "whats done is done its in the past, at heavens door I'm home at last"
God Bless You, Larry...you showed me it was okay to love all music...at a time when I was young and conflicted and wanted to do the right thing. I'll never forget you!
So glad Larry is still around doing his thing. His love and devotion to Jesus is so wonderful. That is always the thing about him -- he preaches the Gospel in nearly every song he sings. Yet, he commented once about all the songs dripping Jesus....like it wasn't necessary to do that. Still, he never wavers in telling the truth that all that matters is a relationship with Jesus.
I kind of look at Larry like the Christian version of Neil Young--both in style and in attitude. When I think of both of them, the word "honest" comes to mind. Larry, keep on rockin' in the free world.
In 1976 Larry spoke/sang a rebuke to his critics that has turned out to be prophetic..."I've been shot down, talked about/Some people scandalize my name/But here I am talking about Jesus just the same."
True enough. I didn't know he was still around doing music. Though my brother told me of a word someone gave him recently about him coming out of the fog he'd been for the last 12 years due to an accident. Only, don't know what year that word (from God) was spoken over him.

Larry was a prophet ahead of his time. He paved the way for Christian musicans. We pray for his family in their loss.
