  • I was gonna buy this, good thing I watched this video. If you have to plug a cord into the phone, might as well plug your damn charger in your phone. This thing is fucking pointless.

  • I'm not sure i understand the concept here. So, instead of just plugging my devices into the wall outlet I should spend $50 and plug in this mat , then plug in the adapters?? All I see in the video is wires anyway! How is this "wireless"?? O_o

  • @xxxredmoonatnoonxxx that's because it's not. What they give you in the package only includes a wired receiver with universal tips, and I believe one apple receiver. For the wired receiver you still have plug it in each time you charge. The one he has for the iphone is separate you have to pay $30 for that. In fact all the wireless receivers cost $30. Deceiving isn't it?

  • I thought you could just drop your phone on it and it would magically charge... good thing I didn't buy it c:

  • what a load of crap... not the review, but the whole concept. This isnt wireless! In fact, its just as easy for me to use the ac adapter with micro usb to charge my devices.... to me, wireless will be when i can put my phone/device on the powermat as it is. What a joke this thing is.

  • @Inquisitor32 Thats not how electricity works... but i get where your coming from

  • you should make it neater of the powermat...

  • this is such a gimmick

  • I guess you got your iPhone back.

  • Does it work without the adapter?

  • Seems like a waste of money, u shouldn't need 2 have it exactly on that dot

  • id rather have a wire rather than a crap load of cases and attachments.

  • What is the point of having to plug in your device to something to set it on the inductive unit...at that point what is so hard about plugging the device into it's won charger?

I get the phone solution...but WTF on the others?

  • Fuck this peace of junk. boost the signal of the charging current so i can be with in 10 to 20 feet of the damn thing and it charges. they have the understanding and the means to change our present bringing us full blow into the future but its a greed over money thats slowing production down. i want and need to live the awsome things we see in movies or on shows that show the posabilities of our life time, or hear about when we speak of the future. this thing was just put out to make money.

  • @Guess539 10-20 foot range of charge = your ass gets cancer

  • 1:28 you don't need all of that cable clutter...2:18 this is where you plug the unit in to the wall.

  • What kinda camera do u use? Great vid..

  • This thing seems like a pain. Ill give you a thumbs up though, because the video was good.

  • so do all those items [the power cube, universal dock & iphone powermat case] come together with the purchase of the Powermat 2X Home & Office?

  • i thought theres a wireless version of this product from energizer? i think that uses another type of battery right?

  • You might as well just buy a fucking 6 port power brick. You know those things you plug into an outlet and it gives you 4-8 more outlets? This is all that really is

  • You call this wireless charging?

  • @tommy407 Too Many Plugss Forr Idtss Too Bee Wieless.. C'Monn Noww

  • @hilololomoa u can now get it off amazon for 20 and 10 for the case... how much has changed in a year

  • Very nice watch. Can never go wrong with a Panerai.

  • Oh, so it still requires the charging port to be functional for it to work. I guess while at work (Sprint), I need to inform customers with broken EVO charging ports who are looking for charging alternatives of that.

  • This video was VERY helpful. You are kinda funny too so overall, pretty entertaining. You got caught txting in class and your mom had to go get your phone? LOL! That was awesome! Thx.

  • if the mat requires a wire there is really no point to this if its trying to relive clutter what do you need to charge 3 things at once probably not ill stick with plug in charger there is really no difference this just makes the problem worse imo "now plug in the adapter into the adapter" how about plug your phone in and plug it into the wall OMG its magic?

  • Is there any mat that I can just drop a HTC Thunderbolt in there and it'll start charging like no adapters nothing just drop it on the mat/

  • can anyone explain to me how this works? I don't think it can just lie there and generate power, or does it have to plugged in for a while before it can be used as a charger?

  • 68 people waisted their money

  • Looks like a skateboard. lol

  • Normal iphone charger plugs are shit! They die after a few months

I'm glad I got my power charger

  • Errrr. I dun want to go into ur room D:

  • FUCK YOU

  • Isn't it cheaper to buy 4 chargers

  • it's a cool thing but the only problem is buying the extra devices to allow for the i pod, i phone etc to charge that is going to cost more money. better of using the standard chargers.

  • seriously they should just make an app that gives like back-up battery

  • I will just charge it instead of wasting 200 bucks...

  • OMG i have the same nano, same colour, SAME CASE lol

  • ummmm i have a charger

    p.s its better ;)

  • hella waste of money you still have to plug your stuff up

  • Nice 250 you got :)

  • Cool idea, but seems inconvenient to always have a bulky case and all the adapters. I think i will just stick with the normal chargers

  • yeaaaa emmureee

  • yeaaaa emmureee

  • Let's say you're sleeping at night and your dog/cat jumps on your power mat and knocks your phone off the dot... LOL just plug your shit... It's just a waste of money. We should spend less time inventing shit like this and more time inventing ways to save our fossil fuels.

  • lol "i'm a really big fan of this case guys" lol not being mean but whehe saod that i was laughing crazy

  • can you recharge like remotes and ps3 controllers???

  • it takes up more space than a regular charger! not to convinient to me.... but if you can afford it.. its pretty cool for home..

  • $200 > putting a cable in an ipod

  • Why? Why make shit that we have been making smaller, bulky again like come on the iPhone is sleek and sexy this makes it like those brick phones of the early 90's. It is much better to just put up with the wires. IMO

  • All these chargers are fucking stupid. Try talking on your phone with your face pressed to a fucking mat emitting wireless electrical impulses/waves.

  • It's much easier to just plug it in the wall then to concoct all these adopters and also to make sure it's smack on the dot?!! What if it moves? This thing SUCKS!

  • "my grid" is better

  • I see cords..........when I can take my ipod, LG env touch, R/C truck batterys...etc and just put them on the pad, without having to plug anything in...will i start looking into one of these.

  • Luis, thank you so much! A lot of times I think an electronic product doesn't do something I think it will, I'm not a big researcher- and you sold me on this. I appreciate your hard work

  • EMMURE!

  • oh that is sooooooo cool!!! :)

  • it looks to much like a mini snow board and i picture one of my dumb ass friends jumping on it and breaking it

  • Will the magnets harm the electronic devices at all?

  • thats gay you need an adapter for different devices.. i thought you just place your device on there and it charges lol bummer

  • I like how you happen to find your iphone at the end of the video :P new day?

  • so technically if you dont ve a charging case then the power mat is useless!!!

  • this is so stupid!! why would i wanna use the wireless charger instead of using the original one......... why would i bring this "MAT" to travel.

  • Cool

  • I gotta buy all that shit just to charge my phone and ipod, screw that ill stick to cords :P

  • this looks like bullshit, idk why

  • LOL use the charging cord that comes with the phone when you buy it

  • power mat is a fail for price of mat and still havta buy adapters for each item fogetit!!! more simple to just velcro or wiretie cords together

  • how can u get caught txting in class...

  • @benjirocks12 everybody gets caught texting all the time. not that difficult.

  • i use a $2 for a power strip from walmart but i appreciate the innovation. you can see where they are going with it.

  • does this even have a unit for the samsung captivate?

  • y would u make a video without all the tools to show how it all works... like the phone ... i think you could've waited a day til u got your phone back

  • does it charge psps

  • well realistically I have to admit its not really all wireless charging there is still a bunch of crap required just to charge a phone

  • thumbs up for confession

  • can u charge the power mat and not carry around its adapter?

  • @hilololomoa the mat is 60 $ now

  • what is that second thing you put on the home mat?

  • does it work with a psp go?

  • we dont want to hear about your room .

  • 100 Bucks for the power mat. 50 bucks for the iphone case and not including all the other ones to buy for your other electronics. You might be spending 300 bucks just to get rid of some fucking wires.

  • Emmure!

  • If you have the money for it, get it, as you said. However, the Travel Mat is GREAT for a vacation, I can see. If you have a family, you have phones and iPods that can just be put onto it and then you can take it all off and out it away in a few seconds, handy to stop evil maids.

  • this is amazing we just need every appliance to be compatible for the future then we have no problems

  • Not such a get idea. You need an adapter for the charging to work. No thanks I'll just plug into the wall and say my money.

  • i really want one of those but i heard they were expensive! :\

i like the sound it makes when you put the things on or off, too! :) sounds so futuristic!! well, the thing itself is actually, already seems pretty futuristic! ..to me:P

  • this is a FAIL because the mat has 2 be pluged in the wall yea sure it can charge 3 things with 1 cord but they say WIRELESS not completly wirless if i say so 2 me its kinda a waste of money

  • whats the point since you still have to plug everything in and carry adapters ... i want to be able just to leave my devices on it and start charging

  • WOW no wires! Except for the wire that comes in from the back, and the wire that has to go into everything EXCEPT the case cumbersome cases and docks you have to get. I don't see the convenience.

  • oh and by the way, i checked out the case for iphone, and trust me you dont want to add that much bulk to it.

  • instead of bringing at portable bulky mat with me everywhere I'll just bring my USb cable for iphone, its more convenient and my multimedia is right there

  • the commercial is really different.. -_-

  • WOW!!! my computer has 4 usb ports and every ipod comes with usb cables can it be possible to save 200$ and just stick with the normal ways no thanks thats a waste of money and in the commercial it didnt have all those ports ithot u could charge it by just putting something on top

  • could you use it for your ipod touch. imean is there a sleve for your ipod touch or is it just for iphones

  • so is not really wireless!! the only device i see well get charge wireless is the iphone and the nano ... for the other devices still not wireless cuz you have to connect the adapters.... the should make cases for all the devices and cellphones.....no thanks

  • @franciscojgh22

They've put out a lot of different adapters, not just apple products. I know that they have some for blackberry phones and Nintendo DSs as well.

In fact the Blackberry one looks really cool, it's not a sleeve you slide the phone into, it's a battery cover. So you just clip it onto the back, granting you one of those charging surfaces on the back of your phone.

Though personally I like the wrap-arounds. They feel like a protective case.

  • seems to easy to accidentally knock it off.

  • Nice u know u metioned giving one away free do u think i could have it ???? i dont have enough cash to buy one!!! so expensive but so Cool

  • ccol you hava apple

  • it would be so much better if it could wirelessly connect to your comp so you could sync

  • TOO EXPENSIVE!!

  • good vid. Ive been lookin for the pc reviever/adapter for the powermat, does anyone know where i can find one. thx

  • "Take the iphone off the power station and go get water in the kitchen" Is that because it takes 10 minutes to get to the kitchen because you live in a Multi-Million Dollar Mansion! You sure do have a lot of Ipod products considering were living in a recession. lol. You must have some kind of money. Anyway nice video! :)

    Thanx, Tech-Novice :)

  • @TechnicalNovice you my friend are a freak

  • what a rich douch

  • Those are awsome especially when cords tare up and shock you like mine is doing rite now. Yor reivews 100 thumbs up ( if I had them)

  • can you charge a psp go on tht mat?

  • yes you can, but you MUST buy the adapter for it

  • great review i saw these at best buy

  • Nice review Luis. Cool concept but could be improved. I like the portable unit but can you use the portable in the folded up position if you only needed to charge 1 item at the time?

  • Yes you can, it also makes a handy cupholder :P haha

  • @LuisMayhem17 lol

  • @LuisMayhem17 how long does it take to fully charge something ????

  • Thanks for the great review

  • "When I take you guys into my room..." scary o_0

  • Is it slow?

  • it's pretty sweet. But 100 dollars just to get rid of some wires and such it's expensive. But handy.

  • Any idea if BlackBerry plan to bring a case to charge it rather than using the usb cable that you can plug into your pc?

  • These are awesome, I'd love to have one, but all the adapters/cases are expensive (Say I'd want to have my iPod Classic and my iPhone on it, that'd be £70 in adapters) Thats a penny more than the actually mat! :P

  • s techincalyl u still ahve to hook up "something" to charge it, nice idea but still.

  • neat product. great video luis!

  • interesting product, thanks for the review

  • great review

  • looks sweeet

  • do you think theyy will make a dsi and psp go adapter

  • Hy luis, This was a great review!

  • lol they took my iphone a few days ago in school 2

  • how do you get money for all that stuff

  • This is thing is kind of cool, but can't get over the iPhone case. If they could build the interface into the case better, this would be sweet.

  • I totally agree haha.

  • Great video Luis you are the man!

  • Nice review luis! and its ok im forgetful with my phone too :D

  • Nice review man. Too bad about you getting your phone taken away :(

  • OMG I have the same portable dvd player and i dont use it either cool

  • can you put like a PSP Go or DS or cell phone on it?

    Great review

  • yes you can if you get the back or use one of the tips.

  • yes. theres a mini usb and micro usb for phones with those. Ds actually has its own shell or case. there is currently not one for the psp go, but they have one for the psp

  • yes with adapter which you have to buy

  • AWESOME DUDE!

  • sweet!

  • Great review Luis

  • yupp 2nd

  • GReat vid Luis
