@Pmezamaiden El movimiento de su mano derecha, los golpes de baqueta siempre deben hacerse con la palma hacia abajo, Portnoy lo hace con su palma hacia la izquierda, cosa q hace un movimiento de abanico sobreexigiendo el tendon en la muñeca, causando daños en el tunel carpeano, produciendo daños severos, es un error muy comun en bateristas, Mike de echo tiene tendinitis y le duele mucho antes,durante y despues de tocar, sorry por la tardanza, no tengo internet fijo

@Pmezamaiden en el caso de la tecnica clasica se realiza de la misma forma,solo que es en el otro sentido, siempre utilizar los movimientos naturales del cuerpo, q cada musculo cumpla su función,el objetivo esprevenir, ya que no es por insultar a un batero, si no que de eso depende el tiempo que podra tocar, su salud musical por llamarlo de alguna forma. Es igual en todos los instrumentos, la tecnica no es algo "cuadrado" sino que es la forma de ejecutar un determinado instrumento sin dañarte.

Very cool! Not implying any negativity here. But all I see is almost an exact replica of Portnoy's playing. I think DT would love to have a new drummer with his own unique playing style. Although you nailed the parts just like in the records, I think they aren't looking for a 1:1 copy of the great Portnoy. That's what we all drummers are struggling with, trying to create our own unique playing style. Portnoy worships Peart, but he doesn't play exactly like him.
