this young man was selected because he represents the most difficult case, in other words he had absolutely no possibility of achieving even the most fundamental turn-out and placement; it wasn't just that his body was difficult but his previous training amounted to total neglect and he has very little aptitude for ballet. This is a demonstration of how effective this method is; after a mere 3 months he was accepted into the Bolshoi summer program on scholarship.
Well, he certainly pulls his legs now, pulls up, and holds his turnout all the way. The visible bracing in preparations for pirouette is shocking, but he'll doubtless learn to modulate that. I think he's brave to submit to so much scrutiny and criticism as must have gone into this enterprise. The jumps are clean and he looks like he can tell he's gotten somewhere. Congratulations.
I guess i see some improvement but... i've seen as much at small studios, in fact i have a friend that went in one year from never really having taken ballet in a serious setting to getting into multiple summer programs. So... not as impressive as i expected but MUCH better attention to detail.
argghhhh the knee. it just gets to me. Your knee movements from positions in the fondu need to be less jerky otherwise your centre adage and allegro's will be all off!
like i dont get my lil hops and pirhouettes arent as solid as his but my grace is better in my hands and stuff. maybe he doesnt feel confident? and ive been doing ballet hardcore for only 3 or 4 months but now i have tendonitis from biting off more training than i was used to(mediocre instruction has a good role in it too)
The point is to stop wasting time with bad classes and bad training, This is the transformation in twelve weeks. That included hours of training to UNDO bad habits, bad training and replace it with correct training. Pretty fast considering these bad habits had been trained in over many years. How much better would he have been if he had been trained by Eric from the beginning?

His head doesn't follow the hand much, more looks like performing the exersice then dancing.

in fact, but he's too hard movements, and his hands... oh my god. He's better in execution, but need more softness in his movements.
