  • Add 1 Tablespoon of vinegar to the water. It helps keep the egg together...you really don't want to trim off the egg.

  • @mykylc helps the egg *coagulate

  • One way to make a nice round poached egg is to us a clean tin can with both ends removed. Place it in the water and then place the egg in the can to poach :-)

  • When I was a kid my mom used to make poached eggs and sopapillas for breakfast on special occasions. Now in my mind the two always go together.
