yeah, he only sacrificed his whole life for his son! (although lang lang sort of lived his father's dream). and his mom rarely got to see him when father and son moved to beijing. fantastic family!
This is the first time i enjoy a Lang Lang performance. This is his culture, he should be playing a chinese instrument also. And cleaning the great wall. And f*ck*ng the world's economy too, with slave work. But no, he insists on playing all those great chinese composers, monsters of chinese culture, like Xuan Sban Bach, or Beet Ho Ven, Rach Man In Of and so on. With a marvelous chinese instrument, the Pee An O
i want to learn this piece but i dont know how to get the sheet music. does anyone know where i could get the sheet music (best would be treble clef because im mainly a violin player)
cool to see chinese musicians performing something non-western and native to their culture for a change. not that there's anything wrong w/ the latter, but sometimes it feels like the asian worship of western culture is a little too much. it's like, you know, there's a lot of value in your own culture too. you just need to own up to it once in a while.
@Papahitas who are u to say things like that?? omg get a life !!!!!
people who think they can judge someone else just because they are different then themselves are the worst people on earth.. in my eyes U are the most pathetic clown ever just for this stupid small sentence
Fantastic. Its great to see dad and son working together with their music (or anything at all for that matter). My Dad helps me a lot too, and I think - like you - I'm pretty lucky to have that close support.
@Lalitamusic your dad will hopefully have other ethical-standards than Lang Lang's father - look into Wikipedia : Lang Langs father wanted that Lang Lang is committing suicide. So I got also disappointed in realizing how problematic their relation is
Love this version of running horse!!!!!

well.... its nice music. But a little bit out of tune (on the Er-Hu 二胡).
If his name would not be 朗朗 and his father...
The piano skills are good, no doubt. But on the Er-Hu, there are much more talented people in China.

Is this seriously the only piece they duet again? A little one-dimensional partnership if they just play this one piece together.
