about 5 or 6 years ago, i started do some graphic novels myself. o course i was a rookie, but i had the will. later, my interest droped a little since my drawing techniques are very catastrophic. so i resumed myself in simple writting novels. but the projects i have are way to good to just be written. and seeing what you are doing here, inspired me to go back to drawing... i'll follow your tutorials along the way, and hope i'll manage what i started a long time ago.

You just do, anyone who has done it will understand that you have to have the character in your mind, you decide when to make thick lines and smaller ones, it's just intuition really, hope that helps in a really roundabout way...

Hey Mark. Can i ask you something? How pros holding their pencil when sketching/drawing? Some says you must draw from your shoulder and just let your pinkie touch the paper. But, when I do that drawing small figure or object will be quite difficult. If I hold my pencil like when I write it stabalize my hand but it will be difficult to control the pencil's darkness and long line. Since you a pro, I will appreciate your response. Thank you.

ever tried a caligraphy pen? :3 i actually like them better than sharpie pens because one pen gives you quite a bit of control over the thickness of the line, whether ya want it really fine or thicker.
